It's always fun watching someone experience what Dan can do with his voice. Honestly, this isn't even his most impressive performance which is crazy considering how many different things he does. Even in some Tesseract tracks where he doesn't use many techniques, his performance can be just as impressive. The whole band is great and I don't think they get as much attention as they deserve, considering their reputation as one of the big "djent" bands. They just don't get a ton of engagement on social media or RUclips and it's a shame because I think they have a more accessible sound than the other big djent bands, like Meshuggah and Perpihery. Tesseract is like if Meshuggah wrote pretty music 😄
Wow! I came across your page purely by chance, being a big TesseracT fan! Your enthusiasm is so infectious - you could have been listening to two cats fighting and I would still listen to it with you!! I would also suggest you check out the band ERRA and the track 'Blue Reverie' from their latest album CURE. Both ERRA and TesseracT are - in my humble opinion, some of the best djent/melodic metal out there. (I also agree with others that 'Legion' is out of this world, and worth a listen.)
You gotta do leigon. Please please do leigion. Dan tompkins goes absolutely ham vocally... and maybe just a dab of jinger, pisces. You'll be blown away by that for sure ❤
Very cool! Glad you digged it! I'll definitely request more TesseracT in the future, maybe even perhaps the Ashe O'Hara-era of them! Cheers Aaliyah! 🙂🤘
Interesting New Band…Your Channel Shows ME new things as well…Instrumentally They remind me of a band Called SUFFOCATION..But Vocally it’s like a Dark David Bowie mixed in with the Lead singer from a band called Iced Earth
I'd love to hear your opinion on their old singer too. Imo tesseract is super lucky that both their singers have been incredible. They each have strengths but I think Ashe is more unique. He's not as versatile but what he did with layering harmonies was insane I guess of mind - nocturne would be a good one to listen to but some more hardcore tesseract fans might give a better recommendation for songs with Ashe.
If this impressed you, you NEED to do "Legion". One of the most impressive vocal performances I've ever heard.
I second that.
Would be much better to hear her opinion on their old singer. They're both amazing singers with different approaches
This
Legion awaits!
If you enjoyed this I'd highly recommend Legion off this album too. It's probably Dan's best vocal performance to date.
Legion will blow ur mind! Great vid!
Thanks so much
Legion is just crazy
🌺🌺🌺
Legion 🙏🕊️
My favorite band! 🔥
LISTEN LEGIOOOOONNNNN!
For even more range if you liked this you should do "legion" by them next. You won't be disappointed 😊 I thoroughly enjoy your reactions:)
As everyone else said, definitely check out Legion! Also that whole album is a work of art and worth listening to!
Thanks for the recommendation

You get an instant like for being a classical singer and reacting to this song!

@@AaliyahCapili you're very welcome.😊
Sei meravigliosa Aaliyah!!! Adoro guardare i tuoi video 🤗❤️
You should check out Earthside - A Dream In Static .. He also sings in that song and is phenomenal.
Thanks for the recommendation
Great video! My suggestion would be Cradle of Filth: Nymphetamine, Dani Filth is an amazing vocalist regardless of his personal insanity ;)
2:27 hahaHAHA it’s nice seeing people dont know how to headbang to syncopated patterns 😆
You gotta do TesseracT - Legion

Dude they're amazing, they're my favorite band of all time
It Wouldn’t Surprise me if this or Their other music is Used in Videogame Trailers
Funny that you mention it, TesseracT also created a game that contains the music from their latest album
Definitely Seems like it and I’m sure Lots of their inspiration make come from epic games like God or War or Ghost of Tsushima

Leprous and haken. Would love to know your thoughts.
Two of the finest prog bands of all time.
Yes, and Caligula's Horse.
