Whoever recommended SWAT to Jerma probably should have let him know about Police Quest's rigid adherence to protocol, and less "you can breach a house!"
This is actually a great example of why these old FMV point-n-click games suck these days. They have all aged really terribly because they were always dependent upon you doing very specific things in the order the game wants you to. Jerma's struggle is pretty much the average experience unless you memorized these games.
Jerma has some SEVERE brain isues with this.

The garage is "sealed off" but there's a secret way to get in, and you'll find 2 dead guys inside.
A SWAT team somehow cannot locate and detain an old granny who likely don't even have combat training, apparently those bullet proof vests don't do shit, and helmets were left at the base.
Whatever the devs were smoking, I sure as fuck don't want any.
this was the MOST frustrating stream to watch because it feels like jerma can't read or listen to anything and he gets confused 4 seconds after being given clear directions throughout the WHOLE thing. he tried to fire that sniper rifle for like 3 minutes by just clicking in the same place as if it was gonna change something the next time. he walked in front of the old lady gunfire like 4 times expecting something different was gonna happen. my blood is BOILING and i am SEETHING

As someone who first played this as a kid back when it was a new game, I say this in the nicest way possible:
You are not very good at this game, but that's okay. Nobody is good at this game. I beat it after hours of doing the wrong thing over and over and just memorized what I was supposed to do.
Also, you move by slicing the pie.

i don't think ive yelled at a screen so much before. jerma basically sits there and lets the fucking guy die over and over because he wont follow what he motioned him to do and walk to the door. instead he is essentially thinking to himself "this guy is gonna die if he doesnt do something" over and over. this game is basically this: jerma sees a train coming down the line and about to hit a car. hes right next to the lever to switch the track. instead of using it, he babbles incoherently and thinking to himself "move idiot train, whats wrong with you"

I know this is too late. But... You turn the knobs untill the crosshairs align with your 'cold barrel shot.' That way, you will hit the spot that you target. That's what zero-ing in is for. Here's the cool thing, though. In a real hostage situation, you get to fire one shot only.

@@rocknepoovey4381 I love how many people think this actually matters, lmao. Like gun knowledge is involved in getting into college or a high paying career or something. I've never even played a video game where knowing the make and model of a gun mattered in any way to figuring out how to use it. That would be a really weird barrier to entry.
