I had to create my own version of the transitions code - always meant to come back and redo a lot of these (and finish the ones that just walk to the right).
I'm still pretty amazed to see people making videos on this. I could use some motivation to finish it up - I have started on a complete rewrite with this that is coming along much better. I just lack motivation and time unfortunately. Anyway, I liked and subbed. Pretty cool to see people enjoy my work even if its a bit of a broken mess lol
Yeah, the walking off-screen were just the defaults when I was making those work. Never got to a lot of the later ones and, as I said in a comment above, these were mostly place holders until I came up with something more creative.
@@Alriightyman Oh Ok! (For oil ocean I'd recommend shooting the player out of a checkered cannon, maybe for mystic cave you could have a vine lift the player up

Yeah, I know. I had meant to come back and make these all better and finish some of the unfinished ones. I remember at one point thinking of Mystic Cave to Oil Ocean to have a massive oil geyser shoot Sonic into the air. I think now, I may take a different approach to it.
@@TeeB-fc4ot yep. I sure am. This is a rom hack of Sonic 2 with a bunch of Sonic 3 ported features - and terribly ported at that. I’ve been slowly working on a rewrite in the Sonic 3 engine.
