You basically couldn’t play in the US, Britain, Spain, Canada, Germany, Italy, etc. if that were the case.

Music alone is inspiring but adding powerful lyrics opens the door for interpretations and unfortunately assumptions by the ones consuming it. I guess you have to take the bad along with the good if you are the artist, but at the same time understand that your music can and does influence people so be prepared for the consequences whether bad or good and remain a consummate professional in the face of either.

I think artist take plenty of time to be political for their causes ..
