he wouldn't like it if his fans said 'I couldn't give a fuck' about him. He can give it, but I'll bet he can't take it. Superstars are usually very fragile ego-wise.
As this piece mentions another British Band, Oasis, here's something that generally happens to a lot of bands who burst onto the music scene with their debut album and make it big. Oasis's Definitely Maybe had songs that were written organically, as music, not with money as the prime motive. They were pure musically created, usually only dreaming of fame. There wasn't a record label pressuring musicians for product, using music producers to engineer what the record labels think will sell and make money for them. Most Bands have enough songs to make two albums, that is why it is often referred to, in the business as the, "difficult" third album. Oasis's first two Albums were and will always be, Outstanding of their time. This is Ironic because Radiohead's debut album is quite forgettable when compared to all their discography that followed. Radiohead's success with their second and third Albums, The Bends and OK Computer were such Masterpieces that only a few bands, such as The Beatles and Pink Floyd have created musical Art that shapes our perception also standing the test of time as real classics. Oasis signed a multi album deal with Sony for the pay, they compromised originality and integrity by putting themselves under pressure to meet deadlines in the deal they signed, losing autonomy because the label executives want to put their engineers, mixers and producers to work with and manufacture "Muzak" to a pattern they think will sell to a wider audience and make more revenue. The Integral part of the success in the first place has gone. This is very much evident in the example of why Oasis bombed from Album three onwards, lacking the magic that had captured a Global fan base. Radiohead never sold out after OK Computer, instead their creative output took a different path with every release, with the only two similar styles of Kid A and Amnesiac, so easily could have been issued as a double Album. They dictated all the creative musical direction in their own time and appointing Nigel Goodrich to oversee the mixing, from OK Computer onwards, having worked on the stand out track, Blackstar on The Bends. The reason Radiohead are one of the greatest bands of all time is because the guys valued their artistry and told those who tried to "own" them with Money, to F*ck off and they will be the Judge of what music they want to play. Artists are Artists, sell outs are Slaves. So if this helps your understanding of why the likes of Thom Yorke telling arsehole "journalists" about not giving a rat's arse about some parasite who shows a lack of respect for boundaries, writing non stories to earn a living, then my opinion in response to your's means my work is done. Radiohead don't owe an explanation or apology to anyone for their actions. If they decide to put out a new compilation of work it will be authentic also true of the adage, all good things to those who wait.
Plus, they tend to play Creep mostly on festivals or places they visit for the first time... and only sometimes as an unplanned 3rd encore surprise elsewhere.
The Smiths aren’t getting back together, no sign of Frank Ocean, AND there hasn’t been a Radiohead album since 2016 Us depressed people are going through it
They didn't officially break up but they haven't released new music since 2016. I think they are taking a break but wanted to keep their options open if they wanted to come back together, hence no official explanation of a breakup from them.
What Thom said for those who don't want to sit through this useless video... "I am not aware of it and don't really give a flying fuck,” Yorke said of Radiohead rumors. “No offense to anyone and thanks for caring. But I think we've earned the right to do what makes sense to us without having to explain ourselves or be answerable to anyone else's historical idea of what we should be doing"
Who cares if they tour. I tried getting tickets the last two times they toured. The first time, I used 2 devices. The second time, my friend and I were on 4 devices. I never could get tickets, and I'm not paying the ridiculous prices bot owning scalpers charge.

They´ve released amazing music over the years. Yorke ain´t reuniting just so people can sing "Creep"
Plus, they tend to play Creep mostly on festivals or places they visit for the first time... and only sometimes as an unplanned 3rd encore surprise elsewhere.
Didn’t know they split 🤷♂️
Thanks to the economy… Even famous bands can’t just retire anymore
The Smiths aren’t getting back together, no sign of Frank Ocean, AND there hasn’t been a Radiohead album since 2016
Us depressed people are going through it
I love the smile more
Good!
Any band reuinting for just money never seems to deliver for me. Can feel forced. Do it for love ❤️
Wait. They broke up?
no, they never.
They didn't officially break up but they haven't released new music since 2016. I think they are taking a break but wanted to keep their options open if they wanted to come back together, hence no official explanation of a breakup from them.
You Can say fuck… it`s just a Word 😅
What Thom said for those who don't want to sit through this useless video...
"I am not aware of it and don't really give a flying fuck,” Yorke said of Radiohead rumors. “No offense to anyone and thanks for caring. But I think we've earned the right to do what makes sense to us without having to explain ourselves or be answerable to anyone else's historical idea of what we should be doing"
forget linkin park, creed etc. We got Acid Bath coming back! see you at the bayou!
✊️
Who cares if they tour. I tried getting tickets the last two times they toured. The first time, I used 2 devices. The second time, my friend and I were on 4 devices. I never could get tickets, and I'm not paying the ridiculous prices bot owning scalpers charge.
🔥
Fun fact: Radiohead is one half of the dynamic duo known as Tool and Radiohead. They love Israel.
How many times you wanna slip in that optimistic joke lmao
Woah.
😅suprised he never said piss off.
Doesn't play interview.
What’s up with Emily’s eyes??
