Gorgeous landscape
This is one of the most beautiful places in the USA and almost nobody knows about except the locals. Every time I've been there it was cold. I always had to wear a jacket at least. It's nice to see it can be warmer. LOL I know it's 10,800 feet but I hit the top of Mt. Evans (14,200) in Colorado before and it was 68 degrees. I've never even sniffed that here and i'm a Texan who has no business driving in ice or snow so I was always there in summer. Thanks for the vid.
Glad you made this video I'm heading out there from Indianapolis on Memorial Day weekend by car and it looks beautiful.
Its really beautiful. Just make sure the road is open because it is closed during the winter.

Wyoming is great. They also have Yellowstone and Devils Tower too. Parking is probably not as good at those spots though.

Snowy range is such an amazing place! I was in shock at how many lakes I could see from the top of medicine bow peak!
I've added this to my "Must Do" list, it's so beautiful! I hope to find a great weekend to head up there, it's less than a 3 hour drive from where I live. Thank you for sharing :)
3 hours is not too bad! Totally worth the drive. It does get really snowy in the winters though and they do close the road so keep that in mind if you go later in the year. It would be a huge bummer to drive out there for nothing.

Just left from there , so beautiful there . Did some fishing and caught 10 trout in one hour . Awesome place

Great video man, I could feel the genuine excitement and it made me want to get back out and do some more hiking. Influencers doing it for the "hike likes" need to take note.
This place could easily become Snowy Range National Park.

I think this was in Aug. Sept will be good as well! As long as the snow has melted.
I was looking on maps and can’t find where you start this. How would I find that parking spot and trail :) thanks!!
We started from the Lake Marie Trailhead and parking area. But the road leading to Snowy Range is closed in the winter.
@@nicksangetta8874 planning on first week of June. Just researching and it might not open by then. Would it still be pretty snowy by then ?
@@amandamyers3339 Its possible. June is always iffy. Depends on how much snow they get.
i hope you turned that stick in to the rangers, someone may have realized later they lost it and went trying to find it.
Better to just give them your contact info … if someone contacts the office you can do your good deed and ship it to original owner. If no one contacts them, then you have a selfie-stick and not a ranger (office.)
