    Good that this video is uploaded to help folks understand the Trio+ more even today!! ☝🏽That commented,..I’d like to point out that ,..when & once choosing a “Song” to loop or playback,..YOU BEST REPRESS THE RED SONG BUTTON AGAIN!..to confirm that song is selected on the Trio+ for use!! ..ok! 👌🏽(This important point was a bit misled here✌🏽) Digitech has of course considered that some may forget and press some other button first so,..the pedal will auto-confirm but it’s better to use the functions properly! A GREAT PEDAL‼️...with many uses if one “gets into it” and NO,..there’s no compatibility with DAW /Syncing modes,..but if you wanna do that kinda work ,..just “finish” your sequencing of parts and record the tune straight in your PC tracks perhaps using the Headphone jack output but realize it (the Trio+) features Global Comp (AI) and the impedance is different!! You CAN have good fun with this pedal if you are willing to get your head into it’s cool functionality for what it is and was designed for!! ✨🎸🎛ROCK ON❗️🎶b(‘ _

    How do I save this sequence to song 1 and then create a new song 2

  • @MOAB-UT
    @MOAB-UT 10 месяцев назад +1

    Very nice- great explanation and smooth playing.
    Questions:
    1. How did it record since the red light was only slow flashing. I am still learning it but always it must flash fast, then it turns solid when I play. 3:30
    2. Do I need the TRIO foot controller?
    3. Will it overwrite saved songs automatically? Any way to lock them? If not, maybe I have to buy 2 SD cards- one saved only.
    4.To overdub, is it best to STOP the song (band) and fast flash LOOP- or hit the Looper button when the band is already playing?
    5. What will adding a mixer help me to do?
    I have a great set up that I figured out. It used five (5) powered speakers. The reverb and delay is amazing. I go into a AB/C box. One out goes to my Katana amp- has channel preset floor controller. The other out goes to my pedal board. That stereo out goes to a Fishman mini amp and a tube amp.
    Now here is the magic. I play a Goden xTSA that has both an acoustic and electric output (and synth.) So I feed a nice isolated, very clean acoustic signal to the Trio+. That single output goes into a Y cable I made that powers two studio monitors (placed 10 feet apart.) Via the monitors, the tight base, drums and cymbals sound m u c h better (tweeters.) When the Trio is playing these parts and my Loop, I can lower the acoustic output on the guitar (EQ) and turn UP my electric volume and have all the dirt and effects I will ever need.
    I tried playing around with the 2nd TRIO output for Mixer but it did not seem to sound good and lowered the volume on the monitors. Should I buy a mixer- will that get me even more capability? For me, it is not about loud or volume- it's about studio quality. I am very close. I sound better then I am!

      @@RockHardRiffs Right. Now let me clue you in on a few things son. 6:49 you said "ASK ANY QUESTIONS..." I followed your direction and you chastized me. So frankly, you lie. You make multiple videos about the pedal so that implies some level of expertize. Me thinks you just want views but are too lazy to bother to answer questions son.
      I have read the manual but still had some questions. I asked you numerous simple questions and you refuse to answer one, yet take the time to write a long dumb diatribe about your emotions and feelings. Most other channel hosts gladly and respectfully answer my gear related, respectful questions. You did not even bother to try which I found insulting.
      Now what the heck are you now talking about- fish? Real talk- do you do drugs? I don't need luck- I wanted a couple of quick tips to help me get a better handle on a piece of gear you know well. You refused. Enough said. I guess that is why you only have 6k subs. Do better son.

    Hello, i have a question. If attempting to record a song, can you start out with a guitar part only then have the band "kick in" ive been trying to just start the looper and play the intro without any bass or drums. It records the part, but light stays yellow and it doesnt let me sequence it with the other parts. Am i doing something wrong or will this not work because the band needs to be armed to actually recored and sequence a part?

    • @RockHardRiffs
      @RockHardRiffs  3 месяца назад

      Hi Robert. Great question. There are a couple things about the pedal that aren't 'perfect'.... but it's still one hell of a pedal. I use this foot switch extension ruclips.net/video/SMA-7SkZAf4/видео.html and count myself in as I did in this song ruclips.net/video/k6DRTxyzlmw/видео.html It might take a few times to get it just right...but that's no different than a real band if you think about it. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!

      @@RockHardRiffs I have the footswitch. So what you're saying is that you really CANT record a "full" song onto the SD card. There has to be a full band playing for it to be able to be saved.

    how do you use distortion with this after i teach it a part? when i teach it a part then put my overdrive on to solo over it, it distorts the bass and the drums coming out. bout ready to send this thing back

    • @RockHardRiffs
      @RockHardRiffs  Год назад +1

      Oh no…don’t send it back…lol. Do you have another amp? Look on the left side where it says ‘amp out’ and mixer. Go from the mixer out to second amp. That will now only be drums and bass (make sure second amp is clean). Now your guitar and guitar loops will come out of ‘dirty amp’ and again…bass and drums thru ‘clean amp’. Let me know if this helps. (Double check your instructions just in case)

    • @RockHardRiffs
      @RockHardRiffs  Год назад +1

      OR…..are you using your amp’s overdrive/distortion? If so….you’ll need an overdrive/distortion pedal. That’s one of the little things they don’t tell you about looper pedals. They all work that way

    • @RockHardRiffs
      @RockHardRiffs  Год назад +1

      One other thing…lol. There is a little button on the very top left that’s says ‘guitar fx’. Press that for different genre’s I.e.heavy metal…jazz…etc. your amp will need to be clean (the same goes with my second reply)

    • @redrumck81
      @redrumck81 Год назад +1

      @RockHardRiffs yes using amp distortion. I figured this was gonna be the case. I ordered a metal zone but I really hate distortion pedals. Thanks for replying. • @RockHardRiffs
      @RockHardRiffs  3 года назад +2

      Making me work...aren't ya...lol. Ok...so you're in song mode with the sequencer on. While in that song, turn the sequencer off. Select the 'part' you want to change and change it. Select another part (don't do anything with it), then press sequencer again....letting it sequence the song and when finished that should do it.

    Best explanation video I've seen so far, thanks. However what I need to ask is this: Did you 'teach' the Trio+ the intro or just go straight into the machine? I didn't see you 'teach' it and when I've tried to do the job myself as the manual says to do, the intro is usually too short to 'teach' the machine. Same goes for the outro or ending.

      I'm sure there's a way you could work that out. Its no beat buddy. I hit Alt Time a lot as it often mis-interprets the rythym. Again, basic tool that does some cool magic IF you get it dialed in. It often takes me 2-3 tries. I play with the genre and various style settings until I get it just right. Sometimes it's still way off and I have to try again. If you do get it right, it can sound great- especially via studio monitors. The cymbals really come alive.
