I can’t believe she’s standing and talking and has a full head of hair on her head. She’s beautiful, and the fact that Kodak did that for the families that worked for them made me love Kodak even more
Oh, God that Kodak story had me in absolute tears. Both of my grandmothers were evacuated during the war; they were lucky enough to have extremely wonderful “adoptive” parents. In fact, my paternal gran always regarded them as a second set of parents- I remember meeting them when they were very old and I was very young. One thing both grandmothers said was how much they missed their mums- a constant fact with many evacuees I’m sure, bless them.
Countries really need to start creating joint daycare/elderly care facilities, Sylvia wishing to see the kids every day really made me almost cry. The kids learn from the elders, and the elders feel as if they have purpose, and reason to get up every day. This should happen more often!
My great nan is 92 and she suffers with dementia after watching this I have decided to attempt to volunteer in a old person's home I'm 19 and I'm 20 in January I understand I am lucky to be where I am In life I struggle with money and relationships and my feelings but then when I see my great nan I feel safe she lucked after me and I'll never forget her never I hope she never dies 😢
Even 5 years ago. Listening to the seniors talk about their past, how they were kids themselves and as they played with the kids as well, feels like they are what they were back then: Youthful abd enjoying themselves. Hope that their okay, now or gone.
Truly beautiful. These memories will last for as long as the digital age. I hope the young children involved in this will understand and appreciate their role as adults in a progressive era.
My favorite age groups represented here. This series is a great example of the direction relationships with older folks should head. Not sure how to achieve it but young kids should have opportunities to connect socially with seniors. Benefits go both ways.
Happy birthday! I know im a little late, but I wanted to say it anyway... Happy Birthday Beautiful!!! I can just tell this women has a happy, sees the good in everything kind of soul inside of her. I love her. Happy Birthday to Sylvia! Hope you have the best birthdays every year!
I have been binge watching all these episodes and crying my eyes out. Its so genuine and pure friendship. And it makes me miss my grandparents cause i have 3 kids (5, 7) and they would have love to meet them ❤️🤍
03:45 - 'You're lovely, Sylvia !' - it wax at this moment that a certain 6ft+, hairy-arsed Scotsman spluttered a mouthful of Glenlivet 12 year-old single malt all over his screen in an outburst of emotion !
Wow!- companies sure don't care for their employees lije that any more, let alone their families. I always liked Kodak's good products & am glad to know my money went to a decent company who use their profit for good! Love the old photos and footage!!👍👏🇨🇦☘️⚜️
Kodak … an iconic institution. Can you believe it. When AMERICA was GREAT. Would Google or Apple do that now. Not on your life. It’s all about the $$$$
You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. You must love your neighbor as Yourself. Jesus the anointed is Lord! Repent and be baptized and believe the Gospel.
Would you like a 103rd birthday like this?
