Just discovered Sam's videos and i am now a fan. Someone else described him as the Bob Ross of bodybuilding, couldn't agree more. His format, demeanor, presentation is all very simple, straightforward, and calming - almost zenlike. A lot of wisdom, professionalism, and maturity in one so young.
Shorter rest times between sets is a big one. Also, I just don't feel super fatigued after a workout, but can still go crazy hard during the session. Also, it gives you about 20-30 minutes to read a book or something. Can't go wrong with it. @@ilkhommohammadiy9816

Seeing one of your clips pop up on tiktok has drastically changed my life in the last month, I went from smoking weed everyday and hating how weak I was becoming to growing hungrier and hungrier to be a better man. I can't thankyou enough for what you have done for myself and the lifting community, you have brought back that old school go hard or go home mentality I think the world needed. On the road to 200lbs+ and I couldn't be happier.

Also risk of kidney failure and heart attack is so large especially when he hits his 30’s. Your heart is put on so much strain when you gain that amount of mass at such a young age and your liver and kidneys need to push hard for filtration and substance breakdown. I hope he relaxes with the amount of roids he’s using and starts with healthier doses or none at all
I think Sam just showed us possibly the single best Tricep Pushdown variation ever… You can actually poke your head through the two cables without having to tilt it to one side and do the exercise closer to your torso. Not to mention you also effectively double the weight stack. Genius.

I switched from flat dumbbell bench press to an incline of about 30 degrees and immediately could tell that it was significantly better in many ways. I felt a better pump and a greater stretch of the pecs. I'm just doing incline from now on as my main chest workout.

Alright, I did it. I put the barbell down and gave the cable machine a try. Attempted several new movements and tried to feel which muscles were being worked. I remembered Sam saying to give it several tries to get that mind-muscle connection and it worked on that lat side crunch thing. HOLY HELL. I’ve never felt my lats fire up like that before, Godammit!
Probably 10 years older than his father, and he has more to motivate me to train harder than virtually anyone in the last 50 years! Outstanding! By the way, preponderance of trainers wearing Ohio U. T-shirts in background of vids! OU, Oh yeah!
Honestly this is why I just keep building my home gym. I hate waiting and you can find second hand equipment cheap. The weights themselves are what's pricey.
As someone who used to sell gym equipment for a living I totally agree. I used to sell 300LB olympic weight sets ( used $150 New $200). The used plates were usually rusty or needed to be cleaned, so most people did not want them except for experienced weighlifters. 30- 50 cents a pound for random used weights as well. You can still find good deals out there, but it was a bargain compared to now.
Honestly I think it’s the clarity and tone of his voice that makes everyone feel a bit calmer. Although in a set I feel like he’s gonna blow a blood vessel in his head. Luv the kid

Sam you're killing it. Sam get versa grips. I use to use wraps but if something goes wrong and you have to let weight go with the wraps your so to speak tied up could pull your shoulder out you cannot just drop the weight. With the versa grips just open your hands weight will drop/ bar I think this sounds right what I said LOL.

Sam should do a weekly topic and just drill it into everyone covering subtopics and variabilities therein. For eg, intensity. Talking about levels of intensity, how to train hard, training too hard etc Each week could be something different. One week could be exercise selection + rep ranges, the next week could be recovery including sleep + supplementation.
Going to the gym when it’s packed packed sucks for sure but I don’t mind when it’s a manageable crowd there. Kind of gets my competitiveness going. I go to a pretty hardcore gym with lots of people really getting after it and it creates a great atmosphere.

Chest and shoulders is nice cause if you bench at all, you’re hitting front delt, and often cable flies can activate side delt too so might as well just throw in some face pulls
