I do have videos on making round earrings... just use a larger object to wrap the wire around. Like a glass tumbler from the kitchen, or something like that. Check out my "jewelry playlist". The link is below this video.

20 gauge steel wire, you can buy it at the hardware store

is this wire heavier than a paperclip?

Some paper clips are harder than others,,, but I think the light weight paper clips may be about the same as this wire which is 20 gauge.

You can use any wire for this, as they don't pass through the ears.
