William Reed Mullin (February 12, 1966 - January 27, 2020) was an American musician. He is best known as the co-founder and drummer of heavy metal band Corrosion of Conformity.
Not only is James Hetfield performing the best COC song really badass, but the addition of his third guitar allows the second harmony guitar part in the verse to be played live. And that is killer!
They do their music differently. If everything "metal" sounded like COC it would get incredibly dull. Not beacuse they are no good, but because different guitarists, drummers, vocalists and bassists contribute their own individual style, and together make something new, even if it gets lumped into the same genre
This is the style of Hetfield and Metallica is cool but this is awesome , I think Hetfield and Mustaine must be play together this songs or his own new songs like this is only a dream maybe never happens
Pepper belongs in Corrosion of Conformity and nothing else he was underutilized in down. And if anything they need to bring Jimmy Bowers back to CoC and take that dude that's playing for COC right now off the throne because he sucks God bless Reed Mullin. Everything would be so much simpler for Reed if he was still alive God I miss him
@@karolosblack Good answer I was going to say that most people are more energized when hanging out and playing with bro's, than they are when they are at work.
Saw corrision years ago.. their first album. they were passing out tapes after the shows.. they were opening up for MegadetH... I thought they had a good style.. happy to still see them around
One of the best drummers in the biz! How old are you anyway! COC is one of Metallica’s all time favorite bands! Do you even know what drums are? They’re the round wooden things in the back. You hit them with sticks.
COC is one of the most underrated metal bands then and now.Woody is the king of vibrato.Just love these guys.
100% agree they are one of the greatest groups and their music is a step above just about everything that is our metal world today
Best comment award because you know vibrato...Who Got the Vibrato? Woody duzz...
Very underrated and I’m not sure why either
The only time I ever got to see them was at slims in sf. RIP SLIMS RIP REED
I wonder how many people were back at the bars/toilets/merch booth saying "man that guy sound like James Hetfield." lol
man, that looks like james hetfield.
my dad almost went to the bathroom but he decided to hold it right before he went on stage so he almost missed him.
You mean the guy who sounds like a soprano?

I was there, literally blew my mind that James showed up.
Look up the word 'literally' again
@@LintRiggs_ You’re fun
@@LintRiggs_ he can’t his head literally blew 😂 RIP

COC and James Hetfield. If there's any way for metal to get better, that's it.
saw them in 96 opening up for metallica in Nashville.......amazing!
I saw that same tour in Charlotte.
2:36 Wish I could hear James guitar more. He totally killed it on the chorus.
2 of my FAV RIFF MASTERS AND SINGERS AND SONG WRITERS !!!! EPIC MOMENT HERE KIDS !!!!
These 2 guys could do a GREAT DARK SOUTHERN METAL CD !!!!
It's 1996 all over again!
yes!
These guys will never age... They look like kids on stage. So freakin' cool. Love it.
Thanks for sharing David Hopper.
Saw C.O.C. @ the purple gator in Myrtle Beach S.C. 9/3/91. Good times!
Pepper kickin Ass and as always the God papa het strutting his awesomeness
And when you see me strut
Remind me of what left this outlaw torn
This is sikkkk....fuck yeah james&pepper....riff lords right there!!!
You're so lucky you got to see this! Thanks for sharing.
If I remember right, James really was a fan of Peppers voice. Great find!
James looked like a little kid playin up there with the big boys!
I saw COC in Saskatoon a few days after this one. Awesome show! Met Pepper and Woody
Sick
this is a kick ass peace of goodness
Fucking awesome, Coc and the mighty hetfeild \m/
The height of respect. I cannot deny. Look at that lead. Pepper is the Master 👊💀🍻🚬
Amazing
awesome! thanks for sharing this.
This was a good version of this song for sure.
yesss. such an underrated band!
One of my favorite songs by my favorite band. Pepper Keenan is Pure Rock Fuckin Fury....
That’s bad fuckin ass!
you kind of want for Down to disband so people go back to their bands, but at the same time Down are fucking awesome...
now just wish they'd get back together with rex
Haha they are probably clueless
Awesome...Thanks for posting this bro.
This show was killer.
miss Reed man.. RIP
Super Mr.JH*
why this sing with James and not Man or ash? The song James was on on the Wiseblood album. I've been itching for a live version of that!
i thought the same thing haha
Fucking tuuuuuuune!!!!
❤REED🤘
This is awesome! I wonder if they played Man or Ash with James.
HETFIELD N PJK SHOULD DO AN ACOUSTIC ALBUM TOGETHER !!!!
fucken awesome
James should feel honored to play with such a legendary band. COC>Metallica
THIS BE MIGHTY!!!
Hetfield don't bend em like that anymore!!! Hot shit, on rough audio
Damn, Hetfield at 3:23 was unexpected.
James should be writing notes to self. This is what a metal and sounds like.

Pretty cool. I like coc
Put your fucking goddamn phones down!
The band performs a song and... their audience doesn't give a damn about them and all look at and film Hetfield who stays on the edge of the stage.
This is the style of Hetfield and Metallica is cool but this is awesome , I think Hetfield and Mustaine must be play together this songs or his own new songs like this is only a dream maybe never happens
How fucking cool was that
Sorry Pep but I am glad you didn't get the metallica gig..Your home is COC and then down..
So weird seeing James play a Gibson SG.
Pepper: I cannot..
James: YEAH!!!!
WOW, Bad Ass \,,/ James should just join COC ; )
peeeeeperrrr. has vuelto??
Now they really sound like a heavier skynyrd!
Ok ok for James but Woody's vibrato is insane. Pepper cool as a fuck
Why they never played Man or Ash with him?
This man wrote Master of Puppets!
Seems that all of the Met guys have a better time playing with other bands than they do with Metallica....
COC > LOG
who's LOG?
+Jimmy Saboter lamb of god maybe

I always thought James should do side projects, it would be epic..alas he is stuck in the Metallica bubble.
He has done a number of solo tracks and work with other groups
Why does James look more energised here than playing with Metallica?
Because he's just a guest here. He can fuck around without focusing too much on the song.

Good answer

Hetfield’s smashed. The guitarist is like “don’t fall down dude, yeah just stand over there”. Lol
I have the feeling James take more fun with the other bands than with Metallica ... !
Of course, because he's stuck with 2 bums who are grandfathered into the band.
I would love to see them disband, so we could see what he could do with other musicians.
I'd love to see him do something with Metal Allegiance
what is is this song
Seven Days
Seven Days
David Hopper Nick Minkin thank you
He sounds more like James than James does 😂
I heard an out-of-tune guitar. Did Kirk sneak onto the stage?
That SG looks like a toy on James.
I love the song, but what's up with the voices in the "believe in me" part?
Was it just for the one song?
Yes - just the one song - and COC was the opener so a lot of fans hadn't shown up yet - their loss!
is this the Clutch, LOG show? Im going to the one in my town, just to see COC
Yes, COC was opening for Clutch and LOG.
Get that shorthair off the stage! lol
I'm pretty sure COC was never valued enough when James Hetfield comes up stage matching as third guitarrist LOL!
I'll take Pepper Keenan over James Hetfield every day of the week!
Get James off the stage, he's killing the show.
finally a drummer much worse than lars
you don't know what you're talking about.
PANOS KATSEAS yeah he was playing whole different song
Lol

james ellen you’re being sarcastic right?
