Maaaaan, I thought I found a lot of the stuff in Chapter 3 and was almost ready to move on. The fact that there’s just a little minor sidequest that’s super missable that can lead to a full on village hub?? Where you can UPGRADE ARMOR?? Man this game is wild with its secrets. Great vid.
The story after the turtle and the snake at 7:03 is, in Journey to the West, when Wukong encountered Yellowbrow, he couldnt beat him, he asked many gods to help and they finally beat that Yellowbrow. In the many gods that Wukong asked for help, two of them is the General Turtle and General Snake (and Kang Jin Star, the big belly boy,...) Time pass by, these gods were lured to the new west by Yellowbrow to revenge. The turtle and the snake fought Yellowbrow on the beach, until that mtfk call the ten-tailed goldfish (the fish in middle of the lake) from his pocket to fight with General Turtle, and Apramana Bat to deal with General Snake. While they fighting each other, Yellowbrow recited a prayer to make the beach frozen. Genaral Turtle cant beat his instinct, he sank down and hibernated in the middle of the lake, and General Snake was frozen on the beach. That's why the goldfish and the bat guard at these places. And after you defeat the Apramana Bat, General Turtle cry for his brother.
You don’t need to beat him twice. Just beat him one time and you’ll get it when you interact with him after you beat him the first time they’ll be an option written “ get more curio’s “

Idk if you found out about the snake and the turtle but they’re basically brothers because they stay together and travel together and normally the snake wraps around the turtle where he normally is which is why the turtle drops a tear

But I will admit I didn't look along the side barriers. Any way. From the shore line to the right walk on the lake and you'll see a tree with no leaves walk up to it and you'll see a treasure chest containing the soak. Lmfao it's there and confirmed haha

If it was a short distance, why not record it for the boys? Sure I'm not the only one watching a video while watching your videos to see where things are. Not a diss either, just genuine feedback.

Chapter 3 is quite extensive in comparison to 1 and 2. You cant expect him to literally walk from Shrine to Shrine on screen, it would make the video way too long. Progress as mentioned and keep the names of the shrines in your mind. Or just don't use a guide at all.. none of this is difficult to figure out alone.
Your videos has been a life saviour. I progress through the chapters by myself, but always return to your videos for guidance. None of these ''secrets'' I would have found alone. Please keep up with chapter 4. Please keep up the excellent videos. Thank you!
Ya and there’s a missable curio for killing all 9 wardens before fighting the boss at the top of the pagoda. The last one is kind of hidden and you have to drop to a different level to get him. There’s a video showing where he is you can look up. Unfortunately for myself, I missed the last guy as it wasn’t in this video. I think missable items should be a priority in videos like this.
Before you defeat Wise-voice, if you kill all of the big tall lantern warden. You'll get Auspicious lantern (Curio). After Wise-voice dead, they'll no longer spawn
That was a very bad boss fight. Half of the time I couldnt see what I was doing. I was very surprised when I killed him cause honestly I was just button mashing as I couldnt see Monke fighting.

Don't know if its in the comments but on Valley of extasy>midfullness cliff at the teleport if you look over the cliff there is a pillar with a spirit on it. run a bit higher and jump on the left on that pillar and move though...you will pass some enemies and then reach a cave with a chest. that chest contains an epic guard that gives chill immunity and if you go further in you will reach a secret encounter with the rat that dissapears in act 1(its vital later for another quest)
If you've been interacting with horse friend from act 1 and act 2 you can find him in the second floor on the temple to the left on the way to the void spirit, he gives you a nice gourd after talking to him a few times. Additionally there's some alchemy pill patterns in a lil chest a little further in the same room. (I think thats where those were OAO;)

1:54 Void-Illusion is actually when you’re looking AWAY from the Longevity Road shrine in the snow fields slightly to the right around the wall to the left.
There's another boss named non able around the brook of bliss. From the shrine go up the stairs, buss a left, then follow the trail. He's in the middle of an open area on his knees.
Use Smash stance to charge while runing and take no dmg from his first form. He’s incredibly slow and easy to run away from when you dodge. It’s truly the fast path to get to Phase 2 where real skill is more important. Great spirit to equip.
@@pheonixgray6078 you know it's funny, I'm in chapter 4 and somehow I got the spirit through destroying spider eggs. Makes me wonder if any non-special boss spirit missed can be found like that? That been said, I do have the spirit but I'm still missing the journal entry log
@stratosffxi yes, at the start of chapter 4 go back to the skeleton and you can get the tear. The spirit will show up in your inventory, you just won't get to fight the boss

I really enjoy the way these videos are laid out. I go through the area trying to find as much as I can solo. then I can come here and realize the 5 things I missed and never would have gotten, but I'm familiar with the area and have all the keeper shrines so it's a manner of watching this to clean up what I need to. so many fun bosses hidden in this game.
There is also the skandha of thought you find from the Mindfulness Cliff checkpoint. from your first fight with non-white go right down some rocks and over the pillar in the middle of the chasm. After some exploring and some enemies you will find a new gourd (that gives you immunity to Chill - helping you fight that last boss with the snowballs) and in the end a skandha.
If you're having a hard time finding the Void Captian Corpse. Facing the Longevity Road Rest spot, turnaround and go through the torch and pillar and keep going until you see it.
The Auspicious curio can only be obtained after defeating all 9 of the lantern-headed yaoguais BEFORE defeating Captain Wise-Voice at the top of the pagoda.
Idk if you figured out about the snake. The snake and the turtle were once helping Sun Wukong defeat Yellowbrow in the original Journey to the West. In our BMW, somehow Yellowbrow could escape again and decided to revenge. He basically made both the turtle and the snake in hibernation, then butcher the snake in chunks. Sadge
2nd secret you failed to mention. You are supposed to kill at 9 lurkers in the realm before fighting the captain to get the auspicious latern curio that is enhances attack in cloud step.
if you progress far enough to the point where the little guy leaves u, the apramana boss fight disappears and you’ll have to go ng+ for a chance to fight it
@@s3b4st14n99 not exactly for fighting him but there is one for having all journal portraits completed, and for that u do need to fight him. otherwise you’ll have his soul spirit after completing chapter but won’t have the journal portrait and will have to fight him in ng+ for achievement
The Turtle and the Snake was friends . They fight against this yellow Guy , but lost . This is the reason for the "tears" from the turtle, after u found the skelett. The whole story is breathtaking .
Wow I’m almost finished with chapter 4 and only now finding out that I can upgrade my armor thanks to Legacy Gaming! Am struggling with the last boss so I decided to watch a few guides and level up now I know why I’m struggling with Chapter 4 and have all legendary gear now!

Also if you keep going north where you cast the ring of fire for the freezing tresor hunter, pick the flowers you see by the lake and a boss should come up of one of them, easy win. And behind the statue theres a jade essence which restores 36% of health as well as mana in the same sip. No need to have full drink. Legendary drink but comes with only two slots pretty awesome tho

If anyone didn’t know , You get a curio for defeating two green giants around thunderclap temple . Gold spike plate that increases defense and enemies take damage when they hit you.
Not the two inside the temple before the chapter boss fight , the ones around it before you get to new thunderclap right before you fight the last captain spirit . Just gotta look around before progressing

Everytime I start a new chapter I travel back to the previous at the first shrine and open your guides to see what I've missed. Not a whole lot in chapter 3 it seems, only the medicine and the fox quest (totally missed the part where you have to go back to the corpse, I did defeat the boss). Thanks for these guides 👍👍
!WARNING! Before defeating captain wise voice, make sure you kill all 8 lantern monsters (those tall dudes with 2 eyes) for a secret curio. Do not kill the boss cuz they won't spawn after and the curio will be missed.

You have to go to the floor above the cell directly above and fight him as a boss, once you do that you'll get the transformation. Also go back to chapter 2 village entrance and talk to the rats hiding inside the hut once you go in the village on right side. Exhaust the dialogue. Do those 2 things bad you get the spell
I’ve never played Souls games because I knew liked them, I’ve never said they were bad games but I could never get into them… This game IS AMAZING! If you don’t like this game you either have a skill issue or it’s just not your thing, BUT you cannot say this is a bad game.

If we kill a lot of blindfolded monks, one of them will give us a blindfold, which increases the chance of perfect dodge if we put it on our head.

Use Smash stance to charge while runing and take no dmg from his first form. He’s incredibly slow and easy to run away from when you dodge. It’s truly the fast path to get to Phase 2 where real skill is more important.
Great spirit to equip.

If you kill enough of the mages that shoot lightning at u you get a curios called thunderflame seal which increases your mana
On 2nd playthrough, if you beat the blacksmith again, you can move up to being able to equip a 4th curios.

You have to check the skeleton when the little pig is accompanying you otherwise the Apramabat won't appear...

@stratosffxi yes, at the start of chapter 4 go back to the skeleton and you can get the tear. The spirit will show up in your inventory, you just won't get to fight the boss

FYI: u forgot to mention that after beating Apramana bat, its spirit is obtainable AFTER you beat chapter 3.
I can confirmed this as it make me so confuse and run around for an hours thinking I'm do something wrong but after finished chapter 3. The spirit is automatic store inside my inventory

I really enjoy the way these videos are laid out. I go through the area trying to find as much as I can solo. then I can come here and realize the 5 things I missed and never would have gotten, but I'm familiar with the area and have all the keeper shrines so it's a manner of watching this to clean up what I need to. so many fun bosses hidden in this game.
There is also the skandha of thought you find from the Mindfulness Cliff checkpoint. from your first fight with non-white go right down some rocks and over the pillar in the middle of the chasm. After some exploring and some enemies you will find a new gourd (that gives you immunity to Chill - helping you fight that last boss with the snowballs) and in the end a skandha.

If you're having a hard time finding the Void Captian Corpse. Facing the Longevity Road Rest spot, turnaround and go through the torch and pillar and keep going until you see it.

Idk if you figured out about the snake. The snake and the turtle were once helping Sun Wukong defeat Yellowbrow in the original Journey to the West. In our BMW, somehow Yellowbrow could escape again and decided to revenge. He basically made both the turtle and the snake in hibernation, then butcher the snake in chunks. Sadge

2nd secret you failed to mention. You are supposed to kill at 9 lurkers in the realm before fighting the captain to get the auspicious latern curio that is enhances attack in cloud step.
if you progress far enough to the point where the little guy leaves u, the apramana boss fight disappears and you’ll have to go ng+ for a chance to fight it

@@s3b4st14n99 not exactly for fighting him but there is one for having all journal portraits completed, and for that u do need to fight him. otherwise you’ll have his soul spirit after completing chapter but won’t have the journal portrait and will have to fight him in ng+ for achievement

The Turtle and the Snake was friends . They fight against this yellow Guy , but lost . This is the reason for the "tears" from the turtle, after u found the skelett. The whole story is breathtaking .

Wow I’m almost finished with chapter 4 and only now finding out that I can upgrade my armor thanks to Legacy Gaming! Am struggling with the last boss so I decided to watch a few guides and level up now I know why I’m struggling with Chapter 4 and have all legendary gear now!

Also if you keep going north where you cast the ring of fire for the freezing tresor hunter, pick the flowers you see by the lake and a boss should come up of one of them, easy win. And behind the statue theres a jade essence which restores 36% of health as well as mana in the same sip. No need to have full drink. Legendary drink but comes with only two slots pretty awesome tho

Everytime I start a new chapter I travel back to the previous at the first shrine and open your guides to see what I've missed. Not a whole lot in chapter 3 it seems, only the medicine and the fox quest (totally missed the part where you have to go back to the corpse, I did defeat the boss).

Before defeating captain wise voice, make sure you kill all 8 lantern monsters (those tall dudes with 2 eyes) for a secret curio.
Do not kill the boss cuz they won't spawn after and the curio will be missed.

You have to go to the floor above the cell directly above and fight him as a boss, once you do that you'll get the transformation. Also go back to chapter 2 village entrance and talk to the rats hiding inside the hut once you go in the village on right side. Exhaust the dialogue. Do those 2 things bad you get the spell

I’ve never played Souls games because I knew liked them, I’ve never said they were bad games but I could never get into them… This game IS AMAZING! If you don’t like this game you either have a skill issue or it’s just not your thing, BUT you cannot say this is a bad game.
