- We are back at the elderly couple's home in today's video 🥳. I hope you enjoy today's video because it is super satisfying removing MANY years of dust, dirt and grime🤩 and LOTS of clutter. It took me 3 days spread over several weeks due to illness, but we got it done!!! Many thanks to the couple letting me work with them and letting me film it - that takes courage!

People don’t realise that if you have mobility issues you need to keep everything around you so it soon gets cluttered. I don’t have that excuse but I’m still surrounded by books, journals and art supplies. It’s called living. You are doing a great job cleaning ❤

Awesome job!My mom is 86 and I agree with you that it’s a generational thing with knick knacks. She has never parted with anything in 60+ years, things covered in dust, shelves with years of dust, etc. I suggest, offer and even try to make it a fun together project but she just won’t. It’s like she’s oblivious to the dust on things she loves so much. I’ll keep trying and hope that I can help as much as you have, not giving up…yet 😂
As long as they are enjoying them, just dust it and move on!! I always think that at some point, my kids will question my decor choices when I'm older 🤣

U DID AN AMAZING JOB ON CLEANING OUT THINGS THAT NEEDED TO BE GONE...AS U GET OLDER U TEND TO JUST KEEP THINGS THAT DONT NEED TO BE KEPT..N ITS GOOD TO KEEP JUST THINGS THAT U WANT BUT NOT TO MUCH KEEP IT AT A MINAMUL AS U GET OLDER U REALLY DONT NEED ALOT OF THINGS..KEEP UP THE AMAZING JOB THAT U DO LOOK FOWARD TO SEEING UR NEXT VIDEO 😊

Most animal shelters will take old towels, sheets, and blankets. As long as they are clean and no holes, they don't mind stains.
They were pretty tattered, unfortunately. I do the best I can to manage the donations and drop those off, but sometimes it surpasses the time and bandwidth I have since it is just me cleaning ☺️

For future homes with used towels or blankets please consider donating them to your local animal rescue groups. They will gladly take them off your hands ❤
G'day, Heather! If the husband is interested in cars, don't automotive items generally get stored in the garage and/or shed?
They are in an apartment so they don't have a garage or shed, but they do have a very small storage closet on their patio, it was just being remodeled at the time due to pipes bursting from a freeze.

You don't know what BluRay is? Did you ever watch DVD's when you were younger? BluRay was after DVD and I think you can still buy them. I personally wouldn't describe their home as filthy. Certainly cluttered and a bit dusty but not overly dirty or grimy considering it's just one man cleaning it along with also caring for his wife.

Put all those little ornaments up on a shelf,NOT all over the end table….looks awful
It was items from the husband's mom who passed a few years ago so he is not ready to let those go.
They don't have shelves. Everybody has a different sense of style, and I hope we can keep our comments kind regarding personal preferences ☺️
IM sorry……I don’t understand “ Pack Rats”……especially when it’s difficult to get around,and clean…..just makes it harder on themselves!!!! THROW stuff out!!!!!! ITS beyond frustrating,when they bring this on themselves!!!!!!! “ LESS IS MORE”!
