Graeme O'Neil reveals his 20 favourte songs of 2024, with entries from Miranda Lambert, The Weeknd, Coco Jones, Justin Timberlake, Celine Dion, and Beyonce.
Ya Ya and Texas Holdém are my favourites. Also We Can't Be Friends by Ariana. Then the collaboration with Lady gaga and Bruno Mars. Those are my favourites.
Thanks to yours top 20 laste year, I discovered All Things End, now, one of my favorite songs ever, thank you for that. This year I was familiar with all the songs, my number 1 is also from Cowboy Carter, but it is Daughter, an unmatched masterpiece.
You made a appropriate choice of the 2024 year, so I approve. 👍🏾 it’s your opinion, but I would say….. I would add Die with a Smile, Shaboozey was pretty popular and Not Like Us has to be #1…. But besides that, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande for sure. I don’t love chapel Rome and Sabrina Carpenter, but it is what it is, and of course, Celine Dion.😇❤️ but the best thing is… 0:18…. Amen.🤲😂
“but the best thing is… 0:18…. ” yeah she wasn’t it this time - and also the fact that she disrespected Celine is going to follow her for a while there
I love "Daughter" as well. You're right though, there's so many good ones that many people will have a different number one. "Daughter" is certainly in my top 5. But "Just For Fun" is my close second after "Bodyguard." I just hope she releases a full version of "Flamenco" one day, if so, it would be number 4, behind "Protector" which, as a mom, ranks high for me as well. I'll end up naming the whole album if I keep going...😂😂😂😂
Hmmm, where to start. I don't really know, 2024 has been a really good year for music. My top 5 albums being; F1 Trillion(Post Malone), HIT ME HARD AND SOFT(Billie Eilish), Chromakopia(Tyler The Creator), Brat(Charli XCX), RIse And Fall Of A Midwestern Princess(Chappell Roan). My top favorite artists(who made music in 2024) being Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Kendrick Lamar, Miranda Lambert, Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande. And surprisingly a lot of old artists making a big return; Lady Gaga, David Guetta, Bruno Mars and there were a lot of successful artists like Taylor Swift. And movies like Wicked only defined music as as genre even more reaching new heights. Also I got introduced to new artists(DJO, Shaboozey) and artists who have been around for a while(Orville Peck).
@@manantial773 Perhaps. But at least I lived through the greatest decades of music, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. These days the female singers are squeaky with weak voices. You can’t even tell what they are singing. The male singers are simply creepy. In fifty years I doubt anyone will be listening to the music of the 2020’s.

Save your Breath by Nelly Furtado was my favorite song of 2024!
Love love love it ! So funny

Yaya i hoped it was gonna be here, i didnt expect it to be nr 1 but its deserved tbh, its my fav beyonce song ever
I'd go with "Bodyguard" by Beyonce. Among the #1 songs this year, I'd pick "Not Like Us" and "Texas Hold 'Em."
I love how we all have different favorites from Cowboy Carter, mine is Daughter, but Bodyguard is close second.

Kanye has no place on any list ever again, much less getting any airplay. (Thanks for turning me onto some other catchy tunes though. :)

Not like us #1 sorry
It's his opinion lol
There was not one good song in 2024. In fact music has been terrible for the last ten years or so.
Put out an album then😂😂😂😂
Save the industry 😂
@@harriz2537 I wish I could but I can’t.
You are so OLD.

There were some good songs but I agree older music is way better especially the 80s nothing is competing with that time period.
Dua Lipa put out a great Disco album. Same goes for Sabrina Carpenter & Victoria Monet.
