14:34 for me. I saw the time of the video and thought maybe I had found something you didn't to speed things up, but you just were explaining things thoroughly, which is obviously a good thing. I never thought about that unique solution making that box a 6 strategy. But it makes sense.
Don't know if it's just me, but I'd rather that you kept the detailed explanations for the medium Sudoku, and just solved the hard as quickly as possible but with a running commentary. Although if that means you solve the whole thing as quickly as you tend to finish the last few cells I might revise my opinion.
I criticized this already earlier! IMO people watching these videos are trying to solve NYT HARD sudoku. I'm pretty confident most (all) of the solvers know the basic things. I mean... "you can't leave the cell empty", "every row, column and box need a digit from 1 through 9" and "you can't place two digits in a same cell". Those things are really unnecessary - in my opinion! Still it is good let's say... maybe once a week to explain some terms like "pointing", "claiming" and such things? I think there's no need to explain really basic stuff, basic sudoku rules to the solvers of NYT HARD sudoku.
28:59 I have no idea how long I sat on the 58 pair in column 7, but that unraveled the puzzle for me.
New viewer 👋 love watching you solve sudokus!
Welcome! And thank you!
Thank you as always for such clear and concise explanations which enable (especially newcomers) to solve hard sudokus.
I'm glad they're helpful!
Thank you! I had the 5/8 pair but didn’t look up to see that it made a single in row 1! Frustrating! Thanks for a great video.

Missed this one so i got stuck! Thanks as allways rangsk!
You're like a extremely kind and polite version of Dwight
10:19 for me. Slightly harder than the past few puzzles. Thank you!
Great video! I was screaming "58 pair for column 7!" haha
Hi there, I came from tiktok 👋🏽 I've always wanted to learn some strategies around the hard sudoku. It was very interesting!
Welcome, I'm glad you found it helpful!
I picked the same box to reduce to 58 that you found at 17:00 and then that made a 58 pair for that column - that's what broke the puzzle for me.
It took me a god damn hour so here I am watching Beary Berkman show me how to do it more efficiently.
lol enjoy

I'm in favor of this.
