What I Tasted: Your favorite foods, but better!
I want to show people how easy it is to make delicious and decadent vegetarian meals. I used to eat a good amount of meat and I still eat dairy, so this channel is aimed at people like myself before going vegetarian. Additionally, I saw the environmental impact of industrial meat farming through my Nutritional studies, and immediately stopped eating meat in 2016. I want to show that you can still have burgers, pizza, mac & cheese, fried chicken and all the other comfort food you enjoy, and that it’s possible with plant-based ingredients.
If you’re new to vegetarianism and don’t know where to start, then I hope you find a video that interests you, and inspires you to cook! If you have any questions, or need anything, please feel free to reach out!

This looks so good, will make!! I love the pop of fennel seeds in sausages so I will try stirring in the fennel seeds after mixing in the food processor. YUM!! 😋
I agree with the fennel. Hope you like the recipe
❤️ thanks for sharing. Looks delicious.
You're welcome and Thank you!
Great, much better than the store bought/commercially produced sausage that is filled with artificial colours and preservatives.
There's nothing better than homemade in my opinion. Thanks for watching!
Good recipe & similar to my own vegan sausage recipe! I use all the spices you do, EXCEPT for the Italian seasoning; I add ground oregano. I will try the Italian seasoning. 😃
Also, if instead of white beans & walnuts: I use soaked sunflower seeds & cassava flour.
I’m definitely gonna try your version. Thanks! ❤
Thank you for sharing your approach, maybe ill try out version sometime!
Thanks, I can’t wait to try this!
You're welcome
Totally informative video! I’m going to be making these. Very good!
thank you
That looks delicious. I'm definitely going to try these. Where do I find the amount of each ingredient?
Thank you. I'll have the recipe at www.whatitasted.com soon

Vegans can’t get away from ‘meat’ and it’s absolutely hilarious. What’s a conflicted way to live :)
Glad you found a channel that can provide you with humor!
For me I I eat a vegan diet mainly for health reasons. I have no problem with “fake meat” as long as it is healthy, and most commercial versions are not. Even some recipes are not healthy, with lots of oil or deep fried.
Eating fake meat is good for those that want to transition to a vegan diet for health or ethical reasons. If you are not vegan, eating something like this instead of the original version sometimes is better for your health. Also some vegans want to avoid meat but miss the taste, nothing wrong with that IMO. (But I can see where it may seem contradictory if the person is an ethical Vegan. Everyone is different and I respect that). There are strict Vegans that avoid anything that even resembles animal products.
This recipe is good since it has no oil added to the recipe, and you can sauté with no or very little oil in a good pan. You can even wrap them in parchment paper or use parchment on the inside plus aluminum to avoid the oil on that step. Love it!! ❤
Well said!
No recipe no watch 😢
It does say right in the description box: ★ For all recipe information please check out: www.whatitasted.com ★
Well…. Then it s not a sausage…
Origin
late Middle English: from Old Northern French saussiche, from medieval Latin salsicia, from Latin salsus ‘salted’. Have a great day!

I think the title "vegan sausage recipe" is clear enough that it is not the same a "meat" sausage. That's okay though.
@@WhatITasted except that a "vegan sausage" does not exist....a "sausage" is made of meat.....it's like a steak : it's made of meat...
