Yeah, all cars are growing. Take a look at Honda Accords from the 80s verses now. Or the VW Golf/Rabbit. They are huge compared to the first and second generations.
I bought one in China in Nov 2020, 2.0L premium model, with about 220,000 RMB (around 31,000 USD). I'd like to say with this price I had much more better choices in the Chinese market.
Sounds like a lawnmower. I don’t care whatever they do with four-cylinder engine. I’ve had cars that have amazing small engines like in my Cooper S Countryman they don’t sound busy at all. This sounds buzzy. Actually, God’s truth my 2017 Abarth Fiat 500 sounded better than this. This sounds like it could fly apart. I also on a 2018 ATS Premium Performance coupe with the 3.6L redesign and it sounds sublime. Kudos to Cadillac for squeezing more power out of a tiny engine, but by the same token, they haven’y improved the sound of it any. And a fixed roof really seems down market in this price class. I like the styling of the front, but the back looks like the same thing 20 years ago that all the car people criticized Chris Bangle for on the back of the series 7 BMW. Also, I want to add that the sales manager at the dealership I bought my 2018 at says that sales for the CT for our lackluster at best and nobody likes the car. For a sales person to admit, that is some thing. I think this would’ve been far more compelling as a coupe. European makers offer many cups to choose from… but GM is killing theirs off. Even the Camaro is being discontinued. Not all of us have a family we don’t want four doors and I already have an SUV, so why can’t I have a coupe? I guess I’m gonna be stuck keeping my ATS or looking across the pond.
That's my dream car. Compared to Benz or BMW I prefer the Cadillac ct4 at the same price.
Such a sharp car!
Amazing. Not long ago this vehicle would be classed as a midsized vehicle. Showing my age.

@@viewsonvehicles yeah, the Civics today are about the size of the Accords back then 🎉

Great review. Hope to add this in Blackwing MT spec to my garage some day.
Thank you so much! And, yeah, the Blackwing is strong.
Does the base ct4 have the ambient lighting in the doors
Not sure, to be honest.
My CT4 Luxury trim has a light shining down from the side mirrors.
What is/does the Smart Card Reader?
For the navigation system probably.

Thanks Otis your input is always appreciated
I love the GM 3.6 !
Beautiful really.
When Cadillac can go head to head with Lexus. Ill buy one. 😢
Cadillacs are more advanced. It’s a matter of choice but Lexus doesn’t even offer automated driving.
Is there a vehicle currently out there worth the money you have to pay for it… I say heck no.
The interior quality, or lack-their-of, is unacceptable in my view.
I have one. Interior quality is great
