Did anyone else think it would have been funnier if Goofy WAS friends with Powerline but didn't recognize him by the stage name. Like if they had been high school pals before life took them in separate directions?
They could have done that thing where Powerline was hideous back when they were friends but he got hot later:) I just love how he just stops when Goofy falls on stage and then looks so interested watching him do the Perfect Cast and they have so much fun dancing together.
If you ask me, the ones who made the songs for this movie can "Stand Out" of the crowd. If none of you like my puns, mabye we can't see "Eye to Eye". In that case, get out "On the Open Road".
On this day, April 7, 1995, A Goofy Movie opened in theaters. An underrated classic for any Disney fan. Happy 25th anniversary of A Goofy Movie!🎉🎂😊❤️ This film stood out the test of time and we made it popular and thank you Disney for making this movie!
+Bobby Lawson I'm sure Pauly Shore is not a good actor by film, but he is decent in stand up comedy, and to be honest being Robert "Bobby" Ziemenuski (I don't remember the last name) in a Goofy Movie was pretty good, because BioDome, In the Army Now, Son in Law, Jury Duty and Pauly Shore is Dead were just trash nobody wanted to see him as a lead actor.
I had this on repeat for a week and still didn't get tired of it. Tevin just had IT man. And Rosie was going on the vocals my goodness. Their harmony A+. This is a timeless piece.
Best Disney film, hands down. There's just something special about it. Much more relatable than the common Prince/Princess theme. Max just wants to be noticed. He wants to be someone, and the undying love Goofy has for his son makes this such a beautiful story. Also, this song is amazing… "Hey dad! Dad! Do the perfect cast!"
Chris N I wouldn't say the BEST, but it's definitely up there and severely underrated. This film is so much fun to watch, and it does a great job of humanizing Goofy as a character. Even the father-son relationship between Goofy and Max is very well established and developed.
It so funny because I was talking about this movie with someone on reddit and i ironically quoted the chorus of this song as “wise words from the one and only powerline.” Then I realized they really are wise words and this song is exactly what the world needs right now. It’s not ironic at all.
A movie that aged well, and a film that I grew up with and was literally my childhood, such an iconic storyline, characters, emotion and a top tier soundtrack by Tevin Cambell. This film is probably one of the best Disney films ever created, especially with a Walt Disney Original character. Still waiting for Powerline's full album man
I'm 26 and I am still loving this movie and song.Just because people grow older doesn't mean you have to grow out of the things that you truly love and make you happy :3
I referring to some of the ways in which Powerline dances or sings. To me it looks like Disney put their own spin on a MJ and Prince hybrid and did a good job at it.

How can hate exist, when we have this song in the world. People need to sit back and reflect on what life is truly about, and maybe if we can hold onto a deeper understand, maybe we will find peace and love, and unite together. Love was always meant to win in the end, this song proves it, so don't lose hope my friends, love conquers all.
+Tiix3 Yeah, I saw the video of the D23 performance. Its simply amazing he can still do that song, after 20 years. I just checked his date of birth, and was surprised that he was 18 at the time of "A Goofy Movie".

I know we both appreciated the theme of love between father and son, even if I didn't quite have the words for it when I was a kid. We even played the Goof Troop SNES game together haha. I love how easily this fits in with today’s struggles. Like if we listen to each other’s hearts we’re really not that far apart from one another. Love is and will ALWAYS BE the answer.
Wow I feel stupid saying this, but damn even now this song is catchy and it rocks! Another song from my childhood is still being listened to...woot! Go 90s, I am such a dork lolz.
Lol right?! I watched this movie yesterday. How did I not realize this as a kid that smashing into the screen at that speed would have most def killed that dude lol wtf that is dark
The nostalgia is thick over here! This movie was my everything as a kid! As a 29 year old I can say nothing compares to the movies from back when I was a kid. The soundtracks and everything were just so much better back then.
JacobGamez yes! Nothing can touch it! When I was watching it the other night my heart actually started racing a little like it did when I was a kid. Very weird but super cool!
25 years later, and I'm still waiting for Powerline to drop a full album.

it's metaphorically your jam, unless it causes you to stop working due to a part becoming seized or stuck. If such is the case seek professional medical advice before watching this video again.
ok thanks for the advice
Travis James Well, when I hear this song I have to stop everything I'm doing. Does that count?
Travis James ....
theTARDISrocks s He's just protesting the unnecessary abuse of the word 'literally'. ^^
I love how easily this fits in with today’s struggles. Like if we listen to each other’s hearts we’re really not that far apart from one another. Love is and will ALWAYS BE the answer.
Got Disney+ and watching this movie 😭😭😭
Me too!
yes
I’m late but it was the first thing I watched
Well I guess I know what I'm watching tonight...
A Goofy Movie
Goofy: We made it come on Max let's get you on stage.
Max: Maybe this isn't such a good idea "sees two ladies passing by." then again.
Wow I feel stupid saying this, but damn even now this song is catchy and it rocks! Another song from my childhood is still being listened to...woot! Go 90s, I am such a dork lolz.
I got this song in my iPod since 2005, I was 11 then and 21 now. You're not the only one. :)
Omg I still watch the movie all the time so don't feel bad xD I love all these songs too lol
I have a playlist dedicated to nothing but Disney songs here on RUclips. I'm 23. I think your good.
I'm going to be 27 this year. This is still my jam
See nothing to worry or feel embarrassed about. A lot of us old people still listen to Disney songs.
I just realized this song was about Goofy & Max’s relationship. That’s so wholesome
"If we listen to each other's hearts, then you'll find we're never too far apart"
When you kill a crew member, but it's still a great show
Right into the lights, Maxxy boi is a killer.
Underated comment
Hol up I want some context now 😂
Lol right?! I watched this movie yesterday. How did I not realize this as a kid that smashing into the screen at that speed would have most def killed that dude lol wtf that is dark
@@receedinghairline5073 When Max swings away from Security, the guy swings into the screen hard enough for sparks to fly.
Love Tevin Campbell, such an amazing singer. He recently sang this live, and sounded like he did before.
👇🏾use this as a I still love it in 2024 button!!
Listen if you wasn’t as lit as I was when max hit the stage we can’t be friends 😂😂 this is my forever jam
The second thing of the millenial age is the undeniable influence of the 90s and the love for its music.
Doctor: “you have 4:10 to live.”
Me:
Hope you don't have commercials!
I know it's a joke but calm down people. Your not dieing.

Heya!
ME!!!!!!
Me!
2023 almost 2024. Still awesome at 35yrs old
The nostalgia is thick over here! This movie was my everything as a kid! As a 29 year old I can say nothing compares to the movies from back when I was a kid. The soundtracks and everything were just so much better back then.
I’m 29 as well and there will never be a concert like a Powerline concert
JacobGamez yes! Nothing can touch it! When I was watching it the other night my heart actually started racing a little like it did when I was a kid. Very weird but super cool!
how many cups of sugar does it take to get to the moon?
philasyr three and a half?
Loved that scene
Three....and a half...?
Um..3 and a half?
*when the words stop*
"Dad! Dad! Do the perfect cast!"
Tevin Campbell deserves more for singing the beautiful songs as powerline in a goofy movie. I hate that he didn’t blow up that voice is one and only
Man I wish this movie still played on Disney.
Or watch it online for free c: Either way this movie is still available ^^
***** Netflix only has the second one. It's pretty annoying.
Isn't still i still see it sometimes on the TV, might have to do where you live.
+The Lion
Yep. Instant a no go...
disney doesnt know whats good anymore.
