Serious question : Does anybody know what year the NBA got rid of the palming and carrying rule? I earliest I remember goes back to the Allen Iversion days, but I also remember Jamal Mashburn doing it a lot in college when he played for the Wildcats all the way back in 1990. I remember that it was inconsistent reffing back then, as occasionally they would call it on Mashburn, mostly road games. Yeah, I'm old.
I’m a wizards fan because I’m from here and no one has ever happy to be traded to the wizards. Glad you said it, because it's almost 100% money & complacency. We've seen it a lot throughout sports, especially the NFL. Once guys get that first huge contract, it's 50/50 on whether or not they'll care anymore. Poole seemed to think "I've already made it," and with that attitude, you won't go far. In complete contrast, you have people like Kobe who were notorious for their insane drive & commitment to getting better no matter how much they achieved. Poole is at a crossroads this season. Either he's bothered by all the online trolling, memes, & media chatter and it lights a fire under his ass, or he shrugs it off & continues going through the motions, satisfied with his millions.
