(energetic industrial rock music continues)
You have just opened up an entire musical world withNiN. His skill, depth, mraning, and breadth is unmatched. The album The Fragile is a journey. And of course Hurt, and the Still album will make you cry.
A Wonderful Journey, agreed indeed..
Listen to "The Downward Spiral" album. Probably one of the best albums of the 90's.
@@VenomousCarnage69the 90's had sooo much great music. Was a great time to be a teenager
Exactly. With Teeth and the fragile are my two favorites of theirs. Also love Halsey's newest that was produced by Trent and Atticus Ross. An amazing album and collaboration that begs exploration.
yeah, dude is awful :P
You have hit on one of the “radio friendliest” NIN songs. I hope you will explore Trent’s brilliance through The Downward Spiral, I am a Gen X and love Pretty Hate Machine so I hop you will react to March of the Pigs and Something I Can Not Have and Head Like A Hole
Yeah, If she reacts to added NIN songs - She will be even more tongue-tied as the Journey begins. It will be fun to see further reactions..
Pretty Hate Machine is my favorite album! March of the Pigs is great also but on Downward Spiral
I’ve been a fan since I was 7 I’m 35 seen him live 8 times….the guy is not of this earth it’s just an experience like tool for me not just music
@@ALTeRedEgO67 Pretty Hate Machine still holds a special place in my heart, as does the girl that opened me up to NIN with that CD. There are better stand alone songs on other albums, and probably other albums that are better, but the memories and feelings that go along with Pretty Hate Machine will always have it at the top. Its been in every car I've owned in one format or another for almost 30 years, lol.
As much as I love The Downward Spiral, Pretty Hate Machine is still my favorite of their albums and came out the year I was born 😂
NIN has been the soundtrack of my life. Thanks for sharing.
"What if this whole crusade's ...a charade" is just an insanely well written line. The phrasing, and how it flows is pure magic. NIN, for the serious fans anyway, is almost more of an ethos or philosophy, than just a collection of great music. Like it's own alternate reality with it's own history, and obscure references. Talk of Halos, and revolutions, and the threads that tie it all together.
"Wish" or "Head Like A Hole" needs to be listened to next. Welcome to the NIN universe
My fav band for about 10 years now. Such a diverse band that never sounds the same. Would really love more NIN song reactions!
Agreed, She will never be the same!
"Something I can Never Have" by Trent is an awesome song. You should check it out sometime.
🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
A masterpiece man, shit is so good.
@@JH-uc6hz Truth
Trent is a genius. Please do more of his work!
One of the first bands I ever fell in love with. Saw them during the Downward Spiral tour in the 90's featuring The Jim Rose Circus. Incredible musicianship!!! Trent is awesome! The Fragile tour in the early 2000's was great too. With A Perfect Circle first hitting the scene. Really glad you covered this young lady. Nice!!!!
There are so many good NIN songs. This came out in 2005 but NIN actually started in the late 80's. You have a whole lot of great songs to catch up on.
I've been listening to Trent for over 30 yrs. Every song brings a new memory!
Glad you loved this song, and your excitement was infectious, NIN are my favourite band, seen them around 23 times live since 94 🖤
"With Teeth" as an entire album is much more accessible to get into NIN. I'm Glad your first introduction wasn't "Closer"
I’m glad it was my introduction, namely the music video
NIN is great and this is a wonderful song to start with. I got into NIN starting with this album it’s a very solid beginner’s album
Classic Nine Inch Nails song. I remember when I saw them live ages ago in London and they played with and it was amazing.
Watching a reactor ‘grow up’ and develop is fascinating
Pretty hate reactor?
This is amazing that you’re doing this!
This is from my generation( GenX)
Great song!
Trent Reznor/NIN has a very dynamic library. Their earlier material (Pretty Hate Machine/Broken/Downward Spiral) is much more aggressive, but then Reznor started to mellow out (relatively speaking, for the most part) in the late 90s with 'The Fragile', their 3rd LP (they've released 11 albums total). Reznor has also done several movie scores, by himself ('Natural Born Killers', 'The Lost Highway') as well as with his NIN bandmate, Atticus Ross ('The Social Network', 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', 'Gone Girl' & Pixar's 'Soul', among others). Reznor & Ross also produced Halsey's latest album "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power"...
I would not call the fragile mellow lol. With Teeth is definitely when he actually started mellowing out
hello! I've been listening to this band for half my life and for me they have been the soundtrack of my life!! Each album is different and Trent is one of the best composers he has had in the last 40 years!! They take you down to hell and they take you back up again with more strength!! I'm glad you listen to these groups and other artists like David Bowie. It's a shame you live so far away because it would be a pleasure to talk to you about music!! do not ever change!! You're a sweetie!! greetings from Spain!
The music of Nine Inch Nails is a world of incredible songwriting and innovative recording. His earliest work is very light and synth-y. That was followed by an ultra-heavy EP. By the mid ‘90s he was combining the two to excellent effect. Around that time was when the mainstream noticed his work more. But it’s the opposite of easily digestible music. The songwriting is just second to none in my view.
for the love of everything please do more nin
That was awesome!!! More NIN
Keep going!! I'll watch ❤❤❤ subbed instantly
What a beautiful rabbit hole you've entered
Wew NIN nice. My favorite live performance is March of the Pigs on stage in Melbourne (from their YT Channel) in case you want to check out a live show.
if you haven't listened to it yet, check out both Nine Inch Nails and Johnny Cash's versions of Hurt. Nine Inch Nails is the original and Johnny Cash covered it and they've both amazing versions.
I would love to watch you watch "The Perfect Drug". It was my first NIN song. It definitely shaped/changed my taste in rock dramatically. It introduced me to the dissonant and the subtly sinister style of music.
I'm in love with this woman❤❤❤
La liberación de una Emoción!!! 'The release of an emotion! Olé!! Olé!! You catch it!!!
Hurt by Nine Inch Nails will move you.
You should listen to Closer next. The logical next step in the cycle imo.
This is probably my 2nd favorite NIN song. Favorite being The Perfect Drug. Great band.
all over the radio and clubs in my 20's
Just subbed solely because you’re reacting to this song.
A few other songs I think you’d both appreciate and enjoy [that you’ve unlikely encountered before]:
- Oslo in the Summertime - of Montreal (well-produced hook and great cohesion)
- Subways - The Avalanches (masterful, complex, sample-heavy production)
- Now - Eyedea & Abilities (one MC, one DJ. Yes, that’s legit scratching (and rapping - the lyrics have meaning))
- When I Was Done Dying - Dan Deacon (watch the official video. No pauses until it’s done. If you smoke or otherwise inebriate, I’d recommend a pre-consumption before watching)
Great reaction - hopefully you give one of those (^) a shot!
That moment when your friend opens your car while your favorite song is on the radio and it just stops.. NOOO!!! 😂 smh… Loved the reaction as always ❤
Yes. Great choice and a great album; one of their finest. Be sure to check out With Teeth and The Fragile, two of my favorites. Continue down the rabbit hole...
The layering of his songs.. unreal. Good luck have fun with NIN catalog.
This is probably the best song to start with the NIN saga. Just because it's very accessible. I really recommend you go into more deep dives from them. Such a great band.
This song makes you want to run through a brick wall. Good workout song. Great lyrics, heavy and powerful.
He also produced and recorded MARILYN MANSON 😊ALL KINDS OF RUMORS CONCERNING THAT FRIENDSHIP, HIS TALENT is UNDENIABLE
SOMETHING I CAN NEVER HAVE, is awesome, it was in NATURAL BORN KILLERS, and the song 🎵 from WANTED, "EVERYDAY IS EXACTLY THE SAME" but the 1st Album Pretty HATE MACHINE, I can listen to that from beginning to end, DOWN IN IT, is probably my favorite song on that one.
I am 62. I was a ballet dancer/teacher for 50 years. I have a YT ballet channel. I've seen NIN live 13 times. I have worshipped at the church that is Trent Reznor since I first heard Pretty Hate Machine in 1989. I am now subbed to your channel.
Anyway, you can check out *FILTER*
That band is formed by Former Guitarist of Nine Inch Nails, Richard Patrick ( Who also a Brother of Terminator Actor who played T-1000, Robert Patrick )
Check out their song:
*FILTER - WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE*
Trust me, you gonna love it 🖤
My love, when I was 16 I followed 9inch nails when they were touring with the Jim Rose circus. BEST SHIT I EVER SAW!!!!!
Been a NIN fan since hearing Reznors Joy Division cover watching "The Crow". Thier live shows are amazing.
" since hearing Reznors Joy Division cover watching "The Crow". - the same (from Russia)! Every day is...
nice video. now i hope you will watch more from NIN :)
More Nine Inch Nails please. Head like a hole, Every day is exactly the same, Somewhat damaged, starfuckers are grear songs
I love your take on metal. Such a cute, bubbly personality getting right into some crazy heavy metal 😂. I think you should check out SiM - The Rumbling. They're a Japanese band, but sing in English and they've also done intro songs for the anime Attack on Titan, which is the song that I suggested.
All together now.... "Yoouuu and meeee, we're in this together nooooww!"
Haha! I can relate to car thing. I even sometimes slow down a bit so I get to destination when song finishes. My wife thinks I'm weird, but what does she know, right? LOL
"Queens of the Stone Age - Carnavoyeur"
It's one of their new tracks and I would love to see what youd think about it.
Nin is so GD good. So diverse all under the cloak of an acid trip
NIN Broken album was Trent lashing out against their record label... probably some of his better and more agressive work. NIN had the Broken EP and AiC had the Jar of Flies EP... one of those gems among the gold.
This is a PERFECT song for driving to . . . unless you have a lead foot like me 😃
I Love this song =D
Midnight club 3 got me into NIN with this very song
Nine Inch Nails - Closer
Welcome to the world of Nine Inch Nails
I would recommend Because I want You by Placebo for a next reaction. The live at Angkor wat is a masterpiece !
I remember this album.. it was deep in the "global war on terror" and the frustration that you feel is partly fed by that, mixed with the regular NIN themes.
Closer!
just want to play quake now =D
React to "the perfect drug" drum solo NIN🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
nin .... the best band of the world🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow, surprising (and good) choice. NIN is one of my favourite bands and I love this song, but probably isn't the first I would recommend. Other great great great songs are the most typical songs like Head like a hole, Hurt or Closer, but others too like Something I can never have, Wish, Last, March of the pigs, Burn (for me the best Industrial metal example), The perfect drug, Somewhat damaged, The great below or Survivalism.
Perfect theme song for unions.
please do more NIN but his great ones. x
:56 already swooning for Reznor
❤
I'm so glad I was around smart people back in the day.
I’m curious what you’d think of his earlier song “The Wretched”, which does not have an accompanying video, but… I love how the base never changes… which seems like it’d be boring, but it kind of drives home the desperation in the lyrics.
❤❤❤
Hurt is Johnny Cash's song now lol
I'm sure you know this by now but Trent Reznor writes all of every song for NIN. He is metal Prince.
Ray you should do some try not to headbang videos
Reznor = Super Genius… 👊👊👊💥💥💥
Jake Kohn - DREAMS. You gotta check this young man out. He’ll rock your world!
Thanks Rockstar and Midnight Club 3 ❤
You should try queens of the Stone Age
Trent Reznor is one of the best to ever do it, he spends a lot of his time scoring movies/shows these days with his band mate/musical partner Atticus Ross, for which they’ve won an 2 Oscar an Emmy and a 2 Grammy’s, not to mention nine inch nails has won 2 Grammy’s and has 13 nominations and are already in the rock n roll hall of fame, truly one of the greatest to ever do it. They also have way way better songs than this, this is a good one but it’s moreso a radio friendly more mainstream appeal song, they’ve got so many insanely good deeper cuts. Definitely hope to see you do more NIN in the future
When you ramble it's how we know you really enjoyed the song. Lol
Nice music taste ⥽*⋅*⥼ facial expressions :p stil absolutely cute
Thanks 😅
Please, please, please, more nine inch nails. It's important 😊. The Perfect Drug, Down In It, or anything from the Downward Spiral 😊
IMO the most catchy NIN song.
Also, every person in that room is an established musician
i like Ray, I've never seen a more quirky woman in my life haha.
I recommend "Only" by Nine Inch Nails.
NIN ... Trent so fucking DOPE!
Liked and comment.
The Offspring Gone Away
Ottimo
Trent Reznor is an absolute music genious, so you need to react to a lot of things from him.
I hope you make reaction content for the band mr.big.
And I have a suggestion for a song called shine, the shine song might not be as famous as the song just take my heart or to be with you.
but I'm sure you will like it.
How about reviewing I Gave Up or Head Like A Hole.
Also for awesome lyrics have you reacted to Ren?
NIN (trent) is amazing, and youre not wrong on anything youve said. fall into the NIN rabbit hole (your hair is still fire, and dont stop being you)
When are you doing Closer?
not their best song but I always enjoy some NIN so thanks for reacting :)
head like a hole and closer
Trent Reznors a genius
Reaction to Belinda her videos like Eden, En el amor hay que perdonar, en la oscuridad, dopamina, ni freud ni tu mamá, egoista, bella traición, luz sin gravedad.
It's a singer with 20 years of trayectory like soloist.
Now this with her tour Libertad bailala.
