- Hey guys, thank you for the feedback on Reddit. I made a video on how to turn your $120 - 2020 Nike Dodgers Jersey into looking like the $350 one!!
This upgrade including the Kobe patch will run you about $50 total with the provided links! Please like video if you enjoyed it!
The long awaited jersey by Nike is finally here but I wasn't going to spend $350 for an on field that fits like a dress. So I did some research and came up with the Upgraded version!!
I added my touch on it with the KOBE patch. Looks great!
I bought all the patches on eBay. Make sure to use the links posted to buy the patches as these are guaranteed to work because I used them on my own jersey here.

I made the mistake of washing it in the washer machine so the red numbers started to peel a bit so I had them I had them sewn. I will be posting a new video soon for the foil WS patch. I also just posted a video of Kershaw I tool during the WS game 1. Enjoy!

You did the right thing, great job. I'm blessed to afford both Nike and Majestic authentic jerseys, and I would advise anyone to stay away from that Nike price. The materials are identical to the unaided eye, the only difference is that the Nike fits slightly looser. Good job!!

I've noticed (just from the pictures) in the MLB shop, that alot of the Nike Jerseys have a smaller font in the front of the jerseys. Is this true or is that just the way it looks in the MLB shop.

The replica jerseys in general have slightly smaller logos/wordmarks compared to the one on the Authentics. It’s not a Nike specific thing though, since Majestic were the ones that actually made that change for their final gen cool base jerseys (and also switched to heat pressed vs. Single stitching it onto the jersey). Those rendered photos on the shop are exaggerated though, it won’t actually be THAT small.

Awesome video, I purchased two patches wanting to do the exact same thing to my replica jerseys. However, I took them to lids and the employees told me they couldn’t heat press them in because they have plastic. They’re not meant for jerseys, so if the jersey messes up it’s on me. They also mentioned that because it says “collectors patch” it’s not for jerseys. Instead it has to say “apparel patch”
They can still do it but they have to put a shirt over it first. They just didn't want to risk burning the patch or your jersey. Do it yourself Alex! Just follow my instructions and you will be good.
@@AiRTDEALER I took it more of like they didn’t really want to do it, because at first they assumed they were feak and since I didn’t purchased them from lids. They took the patches to the manager asking if they can put them on but I saw her telling them no. Thanks for uploading this video I’ll definitely be doing the exact method to mine!
I hate the fake stitch. Like the front I’m ok with, but the back of the jersey? Why not just do it like the front? Or just do a single stitch like nfl does with their limited jerseys? I just hate how they charge $120 and make cheap looking graphics. I honestly like majestics more than nikes

Stick the pitches in boiling water for about 8 minutes after making small cuts on the back. Peels right off when cool. Works every time.

Is the bottom of the 3 lined up with the button hole or the middle of the 3?
You are using the top left side of three to line up with button under the "d" scroll to 16:43 on the video.

I think I got a fake. Paid $65, was made in Indonesia, the Nike tag on the inside neck and front bottom is silk screened, and the #'s on the back are about 1 cm thicker. BUT the Dodgers name on front, the Nike swoosh, and the custom name and number on back are ALL STITCHED. Looks REALLY GOOD. Adding on red #'s and LA patch like you did.
Any tips for how to line up the numbers on the back? My Nike jersey came with the numbers having fallen off, I was gonna return it but I realized I could just heat transfer myself. Want to make sure they’re straight and look legit

Hi quick question, how tall are you? I'm looking to buy one of these as a gift and i'm not sure what size to get. He's 5'11 and about 165lbs
XL Should do it. Im 5’8 at 204 lbs and the jersey fits somewhat long on me but thats my preferred style so im sure a 5’11 guy can fit perfect in an XL

The jersey already comes with the name and number on the back. My add-ons were the front red numbers and all sleeve patches.

The red numbers in the front look much thinner than the authentic jerseys.
It's because they are not stitched around them. If you go get them stitched they'll look the same (thicker)

I followed the link in the description to get the numbers but it’s asking a size number between 1-9? Not sure what that means..
The "size number" are the numbers you want. So if you want to buy number "22" you just go to "2" and add 2 to your cart.

Compared to your shirt size it runs a size bigger. I would buy one size smaller than you wear normal Tee's. I normally wear a medium Tee. I ordered the small jersey and fits great.

Put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds. it will soften it up and make it a little easier to peel.

Your iron should have material/fabric settings. Since this jersey is made of Polyester, use Polyester setting.

Actually Henry, there is on the Dodgers Team Store off of their official website a Nike Home Authentic jersey that comes with the All-Star Game patch that you may customize with any players name and number (including your own). It's about $15 more than the standard without. I know because I just bought it. 25% off too. Out!
Actually, my version was still cheaper than yours. Even with your 25% off. You spent Atleast $260. I spent $160 total. This version is better fit (not long like a dress) and I have the Kobe patch. But thanks for the comment. Some others might not want to DIY. Also, be aware that this video was filmed before the season was cancelled - and before jersey prices were not discounted ($355). This was a cheat to save $200. But people can still save $100 and have a much nicer better fitting jersey.
