Does it increase the stagger increase on blizzard ?Cause I don’t see Barret pummeling him with magic once he is staggered , I think you can use ATB boast and skillmaster even for the 2 other slots Great use of spirit siphon , you were an arms length away from Weiss and the aura kept his rejuvenation from going down too rapidly and the usage of parry materia to prevent his grab or behemoth beam to push yar away
Magic ups work for enemy skill and blizzard. I had to make sure he was somewhere around 40 - 45 % health before I could drop him the 2nd time for the finish and Magic does great damage to him on phase 2. It doesn't help stagger him faster with blizzard tho. Just extra damage
I’m gonna be 100% with you, i speedrun this game on ng+ hard (Pb is 5:03:xx if you want to know) pretty fun run but takes about 5 hours. Even with all the routing and testing, i have not had time to route this fight, I wasn’t even sure barret could do this solo, good work. Im probably gonna copy some of your strategies, so these can be a donation incentive if i ever get the run in at a marathon. This are really impressive, and without personally testing them myself I can’t see any errors, just a few variations i want to try, which probably don’t work since you don’t use em’. Edit: im one of the few runners that have experimented with barret, and i think the only one that even considered or started to use his melee weapons to make him more useful…
Ya give it a go bud. It took a lot of different strategies to get this, but if you find another I'll be more than willing to see it. Just becareful cuz sometimes Wiess does a 2x stab and if you don't have the steelskin on you will die
@@jianuzzi i messed with it the same day, and all i can say is GG, that fight is tough as nails, looks like doing will be even more difficult then I thought. Still gonna learn it and hopefully be able to show it off at an event. Rough trying to learn this fight, route/run hard Yuffie, and reroute/running hard intergrade though. But i now have a playlist of these VR fights now, totally gotta learn some of the more insane barret only/ aerith only fights!
