My daughter told me about your channel. We both make Junk Journals. I have an eco-tank 3760 printer and I will never use any other printer. I also subscribed to your channel and am following your ETSY shop as well. Your kits are exceptionally beautiful! Thanks for such in depth videos!
I also have an Epson eco tank ( I think it’s the top of the line) and I agree that the color is better than the laser! ( I did the same thing that you did in changing from laser!)For my personal experience it takes a while for it to start to print but I think that is because of my slow internet connection. I don’t need to set the quality to the highest level for the print to be excellent quality. Love this printer! I’m spending a fraction of the money on ink than I was!!!
Thanks so much for sharing! My old laptop would sometimes get a weird wifi connection and that did make it delay printing and even made it print slower sometimes! I think for lighter color prints a lower quality can totally work but I noticed lines when printing some dark black heavy watercolor papers and those went away when I raised the print quality.
I’m so happy to have seen this video. Just a couple days ago I bought a E.tank printer. I will be taking it out of the box today. And this morning your video popped up. Thank you lots for this video. ❤
my next journal will be Edgar Allan Poe themed and it looks like this printables go perfectly with it. Beautiful and affordable printables I love them ❤ greetings from Honduras!
oh wow looks like an amazing printer I have a Canon which I love but you have to fill with Cartridges love the filling the tanks think is worthwhile to invest for my next one. Thanks for sharing
You're welcome! I've never ever had an inkjet printer that I loved until this one. I remember having an Epson all in one 15 years ago that almost made me cry every time I wanted to print something lol. This is just a dream to used compared to that one.
Thanks for this video, Apryl. I recently bought an Epson Eco Tank as well. It's simply amazing. 😍 It prints so incredibly fast. Now I can finally buy and print out beautiful journal kits on Etsy. 🥳 I just purchased your wonderful dark forest journal kits. All of them. 😂 So beautiful. And the prints are so good with the Epson. I bought the mystic forest fuzzy cuts as well but just can't print ans cut them with my Cricut Joy cutting machine. I will buy a bigger cutting machine from Cricut. Could you please make a video in how to cut out your fuzzy cuts and flower journaling cards, using a Cricut cutting machine? 🙏🏼♥️
I'm pretty sure if they get wet they can smear but I do believe you can spray them with some kind of sealant to prevent that if you want to do mixed media on top of a print. That's a great question and something I'll try to explore!
How can u set the printer so that you get the entire image and not have it cut it off? The frame is so beautifully intricate and I’d want to capture all of the image.
I do have a question. I want to make larger junk journals than the smaller sizes. My printer has the ability to print legal size paper and I have a ream of it. Have you had any experience with printing pages that size?
Unfortunately, I think printing legal size is not going to work well with standard digitals. Both letter and legal paper are 8.5" wide and legal paper is 3 inches longer than letter (14 inches vs 11 inches) so you would have to blow up your image and lose some on the long sides and also lose image quality to fill the page. If you are just printing simple patterns you could give it a try and have decent results but more complex images may look cut off. You can always do a print preview and see what it would look like before printing!
While I'm not well versed in printing from my phone I think as long as you can access all the settings on your printer from it's phone app that it should still work!
@@ScrapperGenLa if you are asking where they are located on my computer I use new names folders to organize all my files. Your files should print the same regardless of what folder they are located in on your computer!
That is kind of a tricky question to answer as kits can have different numbers of pages so I'll try to give you an idea of my usage. I do a lot of printing when testing and creating videos with my printables and have had my printer for about 10 months. During this time I've printed over 1600 color pages according to the in printer counter. I just refilled my printer (after initial setup with ink that came with the printer) for the second time third for yellow which runs out faster. The refill bottles come with more than enough to fill their respective tanks and black comes with enough to do it twice. I spent about $70 on ink for the 10 months and still have a full black refill left in the bottle and a bit of yellow and blue still in the bottle as well. So that comes out to about 160 pages a month for $7 a month average with ink to spare and currently my tanks are all about full. Hopefully this information helps!
Yes that does...a bunch! Thank you. I have an hp and do the insta ink subscription spending about 5 dollars a month...not printing as much. Sounds like a good investment to look into..especially when i can get more active making junk journals and starting a you tube channel...which is a near future goal. Thanks!!
I bought the same printer you have & I'm on Windows 11 and that is not the Print dialog box I get ( Yours says Print Pictures) I cannot access the Quality slider, etc
Sometimes things can be set differently on different computers. The quality sliders and things are within the Epson printer dialog and not the windows one or perhaps you have a different version of the Epson software that looks differently. It's so hard to say, unfortunately.

@@GiggleGlitterGraphics Thank you! That’s definitely good to know in case I need it!!!

Sometimes its spooky how the internet knows what we need, lol. Enjoy your new Ecotank!

Thank you! I love the idea of using this kit for an Edgar Allan Poe journal!
As a retired teacher I first used this in my classroom for classroom projects. Better than laser.

@@GiggleGlitterGraphics thank you so much, dear Apryl. 🙏🏼 I'm so looking forward to any of your wonderful videos. No matter the topic. 👍🏼
With the inkjet, do you have to be super careful not to let the prints get any moisture on them to avoid smearing?
I'm pretty sure if they get wet they can smear but I do believe you can spray them with some kind of sealant to prevent that if you want to do mixed media on top of a print. That's a great question and something I'll try to explore!

I make sure to print at 100% and UNcheck fit picture to page. Fit to page pushes things out all the way to the edge.
Very good 👍🌟

I always print from my phone. I should be using my desktop it seems 😂

Are your prints saved to downloads or pictures?

How many full kits can you print with a full tank of ink?
