@@shamusbob7969 I bought the Pasta Boat at a thrift store in Van Nuys, CA for three dollars (probably slightly used) because I didn't have anything to cook pasta in.Best $3.00 I ever spent.I also use it to cook potatoes,which turn out great.

BONUS with crock pot there are no DID i turn off the oven fears ? . it is far safer method of cooking , especialy for seniors on
AUTO it simply keeps in a warm mode it start with 3 or 4 hrs on high then kicks over to warm mode. no worries even if on for 8 hrs as i have done it simply drys out no burns or smoke. big tip LOTS of liquid never hurts. as a single guy i cook then freez the left overs for future meals. .
She should have mentioned her Raman Joy cookbook.
