Bro I came to comment the exact same thing. Like at what point do you walk in, see the unconscious bodies and a completely unharmed old man, and just turn right back out?
@@CinJyxxe Honestly, after I see two bodies on the floor, I have to assume it wasn't just a fluke. One, sure, maybe he sucker-punched him with a bat. Two? I'm gonna go get a latte and come back later to see how it went.
@sunofabeach9424 one of the buttons is a heavy attack. If there's no takedown prompt, then the heavy button will register and you'll perform an attack. I only input takendowns when I know they're avaliable.
I love how in his older version he's no more of these quick flashy strikes, every hit is a strong, fluid, and calculated blow with plenty of weight and power behind it but not so much speed
@@CedricDur That happens in real life, too. Check out the 1 vs 5 dude during some outdoor event. Looks like a movie scene, each guy comes at him one at a time and he counters and knocks them out one at a time. Funny how art imitates life... or life imitating art.
I always hated how the NPC's only two reactions are, "She's a god!" and "Did poor baby forget how to fight?". It's especially stupid when they both happen in the same fight.
From what I can tell, it's just a big learning curve. Eventually you can get past it, I know it will take me a while, but I'm sure it'll be rewarding when I do get there
I think objectively the staff is the best weapon, but only when you have all shrine bonus. It often hits multiple opponents at once and has the best focus move in the game imo. (Double Palm might be 2nd). The biggest thing about the staff is that when it breaks, it turns into a stick -- so it's essential two weapons in one. Last note about why the staff is great, Gangsters don't use them!
@@screenwriterdaveyep the bo staff is by far the most unexpected dangerous weapons in the right hands in real life can break a ton of bones and hit a lot critical places that can make you go night-night.
I was expecting some weird shit no one ever does, but this is just the way to play sifu efficiently. This in itself is beautiful compliment to the game since normal gameplay most players evolve towards is the coolest visually too
just got this game the other day and beat it today, it was tough, i’m still surprised i beat it at age 24, this video is incredible, i could never do this, i find the avoiding hard, i will practice so hopefully i can one day be as good as you
you beat it the same day you got it? You must have been watching how others beat the bosses beforehand, surely?! If not, and you figured it all out on your own and beat the game in one day only aging 4 years, "I could never do this" is wildly underestimating yourself!
This was absolutely sick! Also I’m glad I’m not the only one who has that weird black triangle texture on the back left side of the hair. I know it’s small and silly, but it’s been killin me lol. Back to the point, this was some beautiful gameplay! Ggs :) Edit/ps: Didn’t even notice the no HUD at first! I was like “why does this look so dang good” then I noticed that it was because no HUD. It just makes everything so cinematic 😮
Dude, thanks to Yang, I had to develop a playstyle where I can consistently use every single skill in the skill tree if I wanted to beat Wude ending without dying even once in a run. So seeing gameplays like these always take me back to the time before I get all achievements in Sifu and kept playing it like an addicted. Good old times
It's good to know how much I need to improve to reach that cinematic master level, I begin the game a few days ago and finally beat Sean at 24 years old and it felt so good, the other 2 times I beat him at 65 and the second time he beat me so hard that my man instead of dying at 70 years old, he should have died at least at 150 years old xD
What's up, Eileen! Absolute legend. If you go to audio in the settings, theres an option for "extradiagetic sounds" which are automatically on, but you can turn it off. It affects basically every audio cue but there are exceptions.
Beautiful game, wonderful animations. Unfortunately I can't unsee how floaty and slidy the feet are on the ground. Like everyone's moving on a treadmill.
I don't remember this level. Is this Arena mode? I never played it and I kind of forgot about it but I was thinking about getting back into it recently
I'll actually be making guides soon. Good timing haha. In a few weeks, so stay tuned! Dont be afraid! Jump in and start dying like everyone else, including myself, did. I got your back man.

This is how I imagine if Bruce Lee lived long enough to make another movie where he is a grandmaster teaching his students.
Sifu: And what did we learn today?
Getting outmatched in a fight doesn't mean you're outclassed.
"That my bones are NOT meant to bend this way.."
"That we should never take having a mouthful of teeth for granted cause you never know when they'll get knocked out"
"Stop catching hands with my face"
This feels like those fighting movies where the MC is competent whilst the minions as always are incompetent.
Even in video games they are nice enough to only attack one at a time.

They have voice actors for each type of enemy… and they all say the same things
"hm... Alright, everybody, wanna see more fire next time... Lets have a breather and continue our training."
Shades of Jet Li and Donnie Yen with the way you took them all down. Good stuff
