The combat mechanic of this game is litteraly flawless.
Ducking can feel wonky and inconsistent sometimes.
@@Vagrant860there is No specific "ducking" movement. You can move your upper body for high attacks, and flick down to lift your leg for low attacks

No lock on is my only problem. I don't care if the wall is in the way, I don't want to make reverse inputs based off where I'm standing against 2 or 3 hard enemies. Dodging feels inconsistent sometimes but I know that one's because I'm bad. Other than that game is addictingly smooth
Yes, i was waiting for more Sifu content. I studied your fighting style to defeat the bosses, especially Sean when the game came out. I am now used to doing the enemy push into a Chasing Trip Kick combo, habit which i picked up from watching your videos :D

@@alvinomartin there are different ways to trip the enemy. (PS5 controls)
1. easiest way is (⬇⬆ △ ) just trips the enemy
2. just run + △ for a slide kick
3. after a counter or dodge (▢ + X) to shove and (△) to chase trip
4. ▢ into ▢ into △ for a push kick into (△) to chase trip
5. What ONGBAL uses (⬆⬆▢) for a crotch punch followed by (⬇⬆ ▢) for a shove into (△) to chase trip
Keep in mind that all these directions are for when the enemy is in front of you. The directional inputs are related to the camera, so if an enemy is behind you you have to do it the opposite way. Hope this helps :)

@Slim_Savage Crotch punch has a light and heavy attack follow-up, that looks like the heavy follow-up. They change slightly based on direction too, say if you crotch punch someone in front of you, then do the heavy follow-up pointing at an enemy behind you you'll get 3 claw swipes instead of 2

What combo do you use in 2:47. You usually use to broken the guard of the enemies.

Wait what move is that where u hit em in the stomach then push em with both palms (for reference 37:00 ) i kno the stomach punch one cause on xbox u push your left stick up and hit X but ive never done the push or some of these other moves u do.. and i beat the game twice 1st time at age 26 second at age 20… ima have to get my skills up
The push is palm strike (forward, forward, light) and as for your skill, tbh all you need is the fundamentals using skills just makes combat look cooler
These arenas are hard as shit lol I can barely get past the first 5

I have no idea how someone can memorize so many moves. I feel like I'm just mashing buttons when I'm playing.
You don't need most of them. The best moves are crotch punch (forward forward light), palm strike (back forward light), the sweep you start the game with (back forward heavy), and throw (X/ A plus light attack). That's pretty much everything he uses in this.

Chasing Trip is it I believe, it's usually the follow up of a palm strike, but it can be used with directional throw or light light heavy

Parry breaks their "shield" and avoid only builds your focus
Some moves are best parried, but everything but grabs can be deflected, ultimately you wanna be good at both

Idk how you get Massive amounts of points when I do it it’s always lower so I just push them around when I get the amount of points I need to get gold stamps
Points are influenced by the variety of skills you use, so be sure you mix it up constantly
