Also, when Johnny mentioned that 5 years is a long time invested, it gave me another perspective. Life happened in between, and to see your work be perfected along those 5 years must be wild. To see your magnum opus through that perspective should be an experience of its own. I am really looking forward to it!
I sometimes feel like some questions like "why keep pushing yourselves instead of creating a City of Evil all over again and again?" can kinda feel cheap, but Johnny is very cool in taking that question and answering it in a very artistic form. Like really, if you're not pursuing excitement and novelty, how is it not art? If they felt like doing that over again, like he said, it wouldn't be easy. But I am really glad he took it well and gave us a very insightful answer in the creation.
I’m soo stoked for the new record being a longtime fan and already have my Welcome to Rockville tickets so can’t wait to be front row and will be trying to play a song on drums with a sign! Fingers crossed
Hands down the absolute best radio station in the state of Michigan because of the interviews you pull Matt! You are the shit! Never stop being awesome 😎 I appreciate you going above and beyond to get fans like myself up close and personal with our favorite artists! You🤘🏽 are 🤘🏽fucking🤘🏽 metal.
"We only have 12 notes to work with, so what can we do with it?" Excellent interview. I love Johnny. I'm stoked for this album. I'm stoked for the live show...though having them floating around is going to be something else. Lol.
These guys are doing something absolutely astounding. I’m only 20 grew up with A7X as a little boy. It’s very interesting to see this band grow in such an extraterrestrial way. Much love deathbats! 💀🦇
I'm just throwing this out there... But it's got to get a little redundant and frustrating to be interviewed over and over and asked the same or similar questions over and over. But at the same time, that may have nothing at all to do with this video... Lol. Just a theory. 👍
He looks sunburned and he looks like he had some sort of water goggles on. I think it’s a combination of the lighter tone on the top of his bridge and the dark shadow from the hat that makes him look like he’s got a bump
@@domenicandreozzi4067 I tried. I honestly did. I wanted it to be good SOOO bad. I get being different and creative, but damn, they still need to keep it good.
I'm an A7X fan but not a dickrider..."Nobody" was one of the most boring and derivative songs they've ever put out. Really hoping the rest of the album is more adventurous

I love A7X! Been listening to them since 2003 , I love Nobody ! And can’t wait for the rest of the album !!
more people need to watch this interview. Johnny was so open and cool. I loved it!
I can't wait, NOBODY is now my favorite song. Can't get enough. The outro I think of it as nervous tension.
Can't wait for the album and for the shows
🎉 such a fan boy cannot wait for the new album 😄

I love that shit just out of fucking nowhere yea mr bungle man 😂😂
I would really like to know where Johnny got that shirt!🔥
Google search friends horror t-shirt. Loads of different ones
So it's gonna be weird. Is it gonna be good?
Is it just me, or was Johnny a little edgy with some of the questions?
Just you..Johnny is always like this
@@Ranger.TomGunna Gotcha...haven't really seen him interviewed before so I wasn't sure.

Yeah, he is trying to act holier than thou. he thinks he's better than others, even though he clearly is the most immature of his band mates.
It's you. He sounded fine to me.
July get see a7x my fav band
They didn't let the rev's death stop their music careers. They've had a long hiatus, though they're more than everything else, best friends
Forever my favorite band 🤟🏻
That's a hell of a beard
Is it just me or do Johnny and Spencer Sotelo (Peripheey) look a lot alike? 😅
isn’t “Nobody” AI generated ?
No. That was an April Fools joke.
@@jackischannelaboutnothing thank god lol
Did Johnny have work done or what’s up with his nose near his eyes
He looks like Mike Perry (ex UFC 😂)
He looks normal. 🙄

"Nobody is not like any other song on this record" ......THANK GOD!!!
I suggest giving it a few more listens before making a genuine opinion, the song writing is actually really good once u get really in depth with it

@@rebelmetal4233 aye I mean atleast the solo was cracked right brodie
He's probably pissed that his singer sucks now
