The fact that Brooks talks about Avenged as "us" makes him the right fit for the band.

No that’s Brooks speaking English like a normal person.
The only other option would be “with Avenged Sevenfold” which is weird because Johnny is in the band or “with you” which would still be weird because they’re not a duo.

idk what it is, but something about wackerman being in a7x just feels right. Knowing jimmy and the rest of the band looked up to him, and seeing a video from like 2003ish of Matt Shadows saying if he could have anyone in the world in his band, it would be him just makes me feel good. For years after The Rev died A7x was like a semi-hard band to listen to, especially CoE and White Album. I feel like Rev is looking down on this version of a7x and is extremely fucking proud
