Yes, finally ❤ Thank you Eric! Bjørkø is a solo project of Tomi Koivusaari, who is a guitar player of Amorphis! He made an album with all kinds of cool musicians last year! You can hear Amorphis in this song as well. So thank you, once again 😊

On the “Whitebone Wind,” Tomi Koivusaari says:
“‘Petronella acts as the counter element for Hietala’s high notes while they sing about death, which the many different contrasts containing the song is about. It’s also the most difficult song to perform vocally, which made Hietala the obvious choice as male vocalist to get it performed as it should”.
As people have said Tomi Koivusaari is also a guitar player from Amorphis. Marko has apparently been a producer for 5 different Amorphis albums and sung backup on 4 albums. And has even popped up few times on stage with Amorphis to sing a song or two live.
(I'm not hugely familiar with Amorphis my self, so I had to google it all, but Marko has occasionally talked about his studio/producer work for other artists & bands, that he isn't actually a bandmember of. He obviously often does studio/producing for his own bands & music too.)

I was waiting for someone to take notice of Bjørkø. This song made me listen to the whole album when it was first released, and I'm glad I did. Tomi Koivusaari is a fantastic composer and has brought some big names together to create an engaging and diverse record. I want to highlight the beautiful bass work, since nobody has so far - you can't go wrong with Lauri Porra, he is my favourite bass player for a reason. The other guest vocalists include Tomi Joutsen (Amorphis), Jeff Walker (Carcass), and rock legend Ismo Alanko. I encourage everyone who reads this comment to give the whole thing a listen at least once (and to buy it, of course, support the artist), I feel like there's something in it for everyone.

Bjorko (Bjørkø) is the solo project of Tomi Koivusaari who's best known as one of the guitarists and founder members of Amorphis. Bjorko has released one album which features a variety of guest vocalists and different musical styles. Other members in the band are also Finnish and better known from playing in bands such as Opeth, Paradise Lost, Stratovarius and Hidria Spacefolk.

This is the solo project of Tomi Koivusaari, the second guitarist of Amorphis. It`s really cool album with different vocalists on every song and the songs vary from old school death metal to indie pop sung in Finnish.

Hey Eric! I have a recommendation that you might like. It's called Recluso Artista by Crucis. It's from their first album, in 1976. I don't really have a way to put this song and band into words, you'll have to check it out to understand what i'm saying.

Oh. Tomi Koivusaari from Amorphis has his own thing going on as well.
I may be almost a year late to notice this. Thanks :)

From what I read, every song on the album has different singers.

I noticed that little grin when Marko's voice at the end of a phrase went one way when you instinctively were expecting it to go another, and it works.

Liked the music, not impressed with the vocalist, seems to have a limited range.
