UPDATE!:
After 7 months it is still holding very well! 👍👍👍
After 2 years?
@echovortex1238 Some areas are still holding, but not all.
I used it didn't help but I used the adhesive. That's for emblems and that help
Honestly if it worked for 2 years that's pretty good
Of course it works. I own a body shop and go through about 100 tubes of this a year with zero failures. With all the junk plastic and rubber pieces on vehicles nowadays, it’s a must, especially when the insurance companies don’t want to pay for new parts.
It lasted almost 2 years on my car, then it started coming loose again. It is good stuff though 😎👍
That worked out pretty good. 3M makes good stuff.👍🏾 One less thing on the "honey do" list. 😁
Yes! 😎👍
Cheap enough, good fix. Hopefully holds up. 😊👍
It's been great!
👍👍👍
😎👍
excelente amigo
Gracias! 😎👍
I wish that I knew this sooner. The weatherstripping on my Caliber is beyond saving, especially the right side. That's a shame because the rest of the car is in good condition.
Yes, it works great and is very cheap. Almost every Caliber I see has messed up trim hanging off. A very bad design.
@@SixStringSteveDelivers That's my only complaint with the Caliber. Other than that, it's a great little car.
Just a little helpful criticism, Next time, smooth it out on both pieces, let it get tacky, then reapply on the rubber, smooth out, and stick them together ,kind of like contact cement , then the tape wont be needed and the bond is almost instant with no mess ,remenber less is more
I will. Thank you! That's helpful information for sure.
Now this is good stuff! The rubber adhesives are junk.
Yes! 😎🎸👍
👍✌️🤗🌄👋
😎👍
Will this work for the strip on the windshield?
That's a good question. I do believe so.
Did it?
👍😎
😎👍
You applied this wrong . Apply to surfaces and let them air dry to tacky. Then lay down rubber
I realized that later. Thanks
He did a good job, it’ll work either way.
Use very little it’s goes a long way
Yes👍
You did that all wrong. You're supposed to use it like contact cement.
ALL WRONG... Okay... 😎👍 Almost 2 years later and it's still holding.
@@SixStringSteveDelivers he's right tho. it's that good of an adhesive that you can do it wrongly and still suffice, but if you do it right....it never comes off and you can use less adhesive and won't need to hold it in place unless its under higher pressure
@@Dlogreen Next time I'll do it the right way. Thanks!
I get so tired of 'face close-ups' I always ''not interested'' them, fyi - plz stop.......
@cr500mike
