No loud subscribe-to-me messages. Just got right to it. Easy to follow. Nice instruction to let the glue dry for a minute or two before pressing the weatherstripping in place.

It helps to tape down the weatherstrip with painters tape so the weatherstrip stays in place. Cure time is 1 hour.

thank you for the video...I have an idea for anybody that just watched this. if you can afford it buy the weatherstrip from the dealer. then you clean all the old glue off. then you do what he did with a. brand new weatherstrip. your car door will thank you. if its just a quick fix this will hold up but not as long and won't bring that nice thump a new one would bring.

    Hey Peter von Panda!
I bought the same 3M weather stripping glue but it is wrong for my project. What I need is something that will keep the plastic in-place against the inner door that covers the door components. To be clear, Im referring to the plastic that you find when you remove the door panel sometimes called the "door card"...the plastic covers the actual metal door panel...between the "door card" and the door... hope that helps. the 3M hardens, I need something that stays tacky without hardening so as to not have to reapply each time I remove the plastic. thanks
