SINGULARITY | Short Apocalyptic Horror Film (2023)

The world ended a few months ago. Everything was fine until ARGER INDUSTRIES started working on an AI interface known as K.A.I.
Knowledge. Access. Interface.
He was designed to help us achieve the best we could in our lives. Like our phones and computers could give us limitless information, K.A.I could do that and so much more...
Until every update from the company stopped being sent out. Three months passed with no word. Missing person reports began flagging up, until eventually too many people were missing. Anonymous sources began taking photos of some of the people that worked at ARGER. Their faces covered with these masks...
Weird thing was, these people were identified as not only the employees but the missing people. All of them were working to produce more masks...
Then the police showed up with the army and got ambushed. The people wearing the masks putting them on the soldiers and the police until eventually everyone was wearing one.
Turns out the masks drill into your face and your skull connecting to your brain. Once they do this K.A.I takes over. You become a Sentinel and have no control over your body.
After a while, there were more Sentinels than there were people. The last spark of humanity being hunted down.
Having a mask put on your face by a Sentinel is a death sentence. You don't want to become one of them.
So we hide. We fight to survive, creating kill codes and viruses to implement into K.A.I. Hoping that one day he will be killed. One day the masks would come off and bring our loved ones back.
Meanwhile the Sentinels fly around the planet in their ships scanning the wreckage of the world for whats left. We can shoot them down and kill the hosts but they keep coming.
Until today. Today is the day we find the code to stop all this.
So here I go, to my old computer to download the right files. But they're looking for me.

The Singularity is upon us.
As part of my Summer Project (which I pushed myself with) we had to create a fifty second to one minute movie and then remake it three times with different obstructions.
So I made three completely different films that use the exact same dialogue in them. All of which follow specific obstructions as well as overall rules.
However I figured I would release each "Chapter" individually first before releasing the full short film with them all in together.
Either way, they all tell pretty cool stories. But when you combine them into one film... they may make more sense to the wider story and also to each other...
