    Two Trees SP5 V3 does not recognise the Bin file and boots normally. The wifi card transmits its webpage and accepts the bin file as firmware upgrade but the Two Trees menu does not have Wifi option added.

    Fantastic upgrade. Please,please,please translate your software to full english GUI!!!! Many users from outside China would love to use it, but can not, because it is partly English partly Chinesse. And please also add camera functionality, so we can add any cheap IP camera ( 1 or more ) and view the printing in CURA.

    I bought the Robin nano V2. With wifi I can only send commands to the printer. When will the firmware to send files be available?

    So, in Robin Nano v3 it is not possible to send a .gcode file from my computer to the SD? Only via sending commands to through Cura-plugin or Pronterface? We are the same as with my old MKS Gen 1.4?
    In this video, I don't see the possibility to send the .gcode file from the computer to the SD inside Robin

    I can only connect to the printer through Wifi with Cura 15.04.6 from the MKS github page. I have attempted numerous times to use Cura 4.9 and 4.10 with the MKS Wifi plugin from the Cura Marketplace and from github. Cura will not see the printer, and I can not manually add the printer. Without making any changes, if I load Cura 15.04.6, I can add the printer and connect just fine.
    I would think that this issue could be caused by Firewall rules in my router, except that Cura 15.04.6 will connect.

    • @makerbaseteam4217
      @makerbaseteam4217  3 года назад

      New plugins are required for cura4.9 and 4.10, the plugins have been uploaded to github

    • @moxlon69
      @moxlon69 3 года назад

      I will test it again after my current print is finished, but unless the plugin on the GitHub page was updated within the last six hours, I have already tried it with both 4.9 and 4.10. I also updated the wifi module firmware. I will test it again and if I still have no luck I will try Cura 4.7 or 4.8, or just give up until I switch firmware to RepRap or Klipper. wireless wasn't my priority, nor the deciding factor when I purchased the nano v3 package, so the wifi module was basically a free bonus for me.

    • @makerbaseteam4217
      @makerbaseteam4217  3 года назад

      @@moxlon69 I have tested it. If it doesn’t work, don’t choose the Ultimaker machine when setting the model on cura, you can choose other machines.

    • @moxlon69
      @moxlon69 3 года назад

      @@makerbaseteam4217 I never choose the ultimaker machines. I have always chosen Creality3d Ender 3 when installing, as my machine was the Ender 3. I just tested with Cura versions 4.8 (marketplace and GitHub plugins), and 4.9 and 4.10 with only the GitHub plugin, and none of these see the printer, but I can connect with Cura 15.04.6 and I can access a web based configuration page. I appreciate your input, but as I have said, wireless is not my priority so I am not going to devote any more time to trying to fix the issue. The MKS Robin Nano V3 and the TS35 screen both work great and my printer has never ran more silently. I am happy with the results either way.

    This does not seem to work for the Robin Mini board using the latest firmware.
    I have the Wifi module installed, but the wifi screen does not allow a network to be chosen or a password to be entered.
    In Marlin 2.0, there is no menu option to view network info at all after compiling.

      I am using Robin MKS in three printers here. I am a senior Marlin user. If you can move away from Marlin for now. the original firmware on the Robin MKS is perfekt and works really flawless. Unless you have very special features that you need and can only find in Marlin, you can switch to Robin firmware and you won´t miss a thing. It is really good!

      The main thing I wanted to do after getting marlin setup the way I wanted was to transfer gcode files wirelessly to the SD card, but that isn't worth it to me if I have to lose all other features. I already redid some of the old firmware's UI icons.
      Anyway, i'm disappointed with Makerbase here, as they seem to have passed on supporting this old board in favor of newer ones, and I'm not buying a new board when the current one works fine.
