Rottweilers are such sweethearts ❤ I love that she still has her tail. I rarely see a rotty with their tail. Once upon a time I had a beautiful rotty girl, Diva. She was just the cutest, sweetest, and funniest dog. Everyone loved her. She was chubby, the vets called her sausage dog 😂 We put her on a diet, so she began eating the berries that grew around our house. I miss her so much ❤
Why don't they usually have tails?

@@RobHorror240 Traditionally, a Rottweiler's tail was docked (cut short) so it would not get in the way when the dog performed certain tasks, such as pulling a cart. If a working dog's tail is docked, it cannot get caught in something or be stepped on. Tails are also docked for visual appeal and home safety.
@@cassy420blaze Also, some dogs can be very prone to breaking their tails if they wag them too hard agains something (trees or branches etc. in the case of hunting dogs for example) and the tail might need to be docked to prevent such injuries.
In Australia, tail docking has long been banned (not sure if exceptions are allowed in working farm animals). Declawing of animals is also totally banned, no exceptions.
A few decades ago I saw at a community market a friendly and quite elderly dog - who was of the generation whose tails were standardly removed - being gazed at in disbelief by two younger friendly dogs with intact tails. Haha you could almost imagine the conversation: younger dogs "what happened to your tail, old fella?" Old dog "I had it cut off at the vets when I was a puppy - a lot of dogs of my generation had that happen: I don't know why..." Younger dogs gasp in horror, then say "oh come on, that can't be true: ya must have lost it in a fight!" Old dog "nope mate, it's the truth. You youngsters are lucky you get to keep yours!"
This gives me such hope. Our rotten rottie is absolutely smitten with children. The problem, of course, is he is absolutely unaware of his size and weight, so all interactions require him to lay down and let the kids come to his level. I'm hoping to introduce a couple of rabbits to the family soon and I'm going to try what Beth did with the guineas.
I dont know if good idea introducing rabbits to dog. Remember, your dog sounds too aggressive and rabbits are a go get them animal. Obviously you dont wznt yo see your bunnies getting nerves out especially if your dog is still young. Need alot of time and patience so take your time and wait, its alot of work n devotion
They know what they're doing around lil ones. It amazes me how 1000lb Nile croc moms pick up and carry their lil ones. Amazingly Gentle !!!
My black lab never got over the fact that the hamsters we had growing up were a snack.

A Mother's Love knows no bounds 🐾🐾💞
Meisha has the most important job in the world; being a attentive proper mother. I love her motherly instincts to protect and always check on them; spending her time with them. The best part is that she is never distracted by a silly phone having all of her attention 24/7. Great mother!

What a big heart this pup has. Pure love.
My dogs are kinda like this with my two guinea pigs too...I have a big belgian malinois named Lenny, and a small Yorkie-Daschund named Scotty. They're incredibly gentle with my cavies and just love on them and chill with them. Scotty says good morning to them before he says good morning to me.

Awe, that's so cute 🥰 I feel so sorry for her that people treat her differently because of her breed. I had two pitbulls...it was heartbreaking watching people react like they were vicious. Those two would lick and cuddle someone to death that's about it. I miss them so much 🥺
I love pitbulls so much. A lot of people have them in my area and I have to fight that masculine urge to cuddle them whenever I see someone walking one. They have such adorable chunky faces.
As someone bit by a putbull I THOUGHT was friendly: it’s unfortunately about their bite strength. They can do some damage.
that is exactly why i hate ignorant people. their ignorance. crossing the road because “move fifi, you see that monster over there”-attitude people, only think about themselves! how about NOT crossing the road and make that dog and his mom a best day ever!
A friend of mine had the same problem until she put a purple sparkly Tutu on her dog. Then she suddenly had the "'cute" factor that made people smile.
@@TheMewtata Remember that it's our fault, not theirs. We bred them that way. You act like it's the dog's fault for having such a strong bite when it is not.
Everytime i see a rottweiler i love them more and more. She's such a sweetie but would also protect all of you with her life 💙🐕

Rotts have always been used as Nanny dogs for a reason. They are the sweetest; super nurturing and protecting. Amazing dogs and they have best temperment. People that think otherwise are uneducated/ignorant to the breed. I wish I had one. She's so beautiful.

When I take my big burly male pitbull for walks I put a big pink bow around his neck and I have found that people seem way less intimidated by him and he loves the attention it brings💝🎀

In Europe all Rottweilers have their tails. It was banned a couple of years ago and to see a Rottweiler without tail is almost shocking now
She is so precious. I have a 130lb female Rotti that we rescued she had a litter prior to us adopting her unfortunately none of them made it. She is allot like this dog love she loves my daughters ferrets and follows them everywhere, she is the most gentle dog. People do that to me cross the road. I'm so used to it. I just keep walking with my head high because I know how she really is.

Beautiful! I always look at the owner to see whether I should be wary of a large dog, because it's usually most up to upbringing than anything else. I love pitties and other large dogs that get a bad rep...

Just so y'all know if you have a dog or something and small pets make sure you are as near as you can with them to make sure no animal gets hurt.

Well, this is the most precious thing! Rotties are the sweetest dogs... I'm so that some people won't give Meisha a chance & shy away from her. They are missing out on a wonderful experience. The piggies & kitty are very sweet too.

They never crop Rottie ears, but I agree on the tail, used to be when you got your puppy the tail was already done, glad next time I get one I’ll have a tail! With rotties comes extreme happiness, which means the tail will swipe things the same height down but that’s fine 😊
@Adrianne Yes it is! My sister had a huge chocolate lab with a giant tail and when she got happy, look out! I called it her baseball bat. 😊 I miss her. Her name was Molly Brown. 🤎

@@cassy420blaze Or maybe get YOUR mind get out of the gutter. People have various experiences with dogs. Some people are scared of the dogs, and have full right to feel that way. As if there are no cases of dogs mauling kids and even adults. Yup, that's adorable dog in the vid, because you got 3 mins introduction and owners narrative. Stranger who never saw the dog before doesn't have to share those feelings and may want to not risk getting close to a big strong dog that's clearly not wearing a muzzle. Owner won't be ensuring every single person during the walk their dog is gentle, the stranger doesn't have to tell every dog owner their life story when they were once bitten by a dog or were witnessing it and it was traumatizing experience.

This is the the most adorable thing I've seen this week and it's not even close. Dogs are who you raise them to be much like children. If you're a terrible "parent" it's reflected in your "children".
Yes Miguel Reyes I did note decades ago there was a correlation between people in my area whose out of control badly behaved and a danger to themselves and others children and their dogs, who were a canine version of the kids. A lose lose situation.

I've always found Rotties to be very gentle and calm, but like with any pooch, it's the family that raises them that makes the difference.

I have had 4 rotties. Our latest is now almost 1.she's the biggest sooky pants ever. When raised in a family with love rotties are beautiful, friendly affectionate doggies. We love them! ❤️ Your girl is just gorgeous. Kisses n hugs to you all

I had cats that used to like my guinea pigs. I would bring them out in their playpen, and the cats would just stare at them and every once in awhile give them a very gentle pet on the head. 😄 I would always supervise them of course just in case.

One of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met in my life was a rottie. If there was one on a walk that wanted pets from me and the owner said it was okay, I’d be so, so happy.
Lobo’s bffs are two Rottweilers. One of them turns into a puppy when she sees him. The other one just wants to give him kisses. The sweetest pups ever! 🐾💙🐺
