You know who I could see playing it? If he could get the psycho part of it down well enough the guy who played Penny wise (I can’t remember how to spell his name) but he’s so good at the creepiness if he could get the laugh and that edge of the joker he’d be a really good bat man who laughs

This should be the Batman movie that ties the Batman Multiverse together. DC did a great job with the Crisis on Infinite Earths event in the Arrowverse, and they really need to channel some of that magic to make this happen.

No. This actually was the best way to do it. It's a way to tie two Batman universes together (which are both often seen as the best interpretations of Batman depending on who you ask). The only thing is that Bale's universe would have to recast the Joker since I believe in the comics Batman and Joker end up having to team up to take out the Batman who Laughs, but they could easily have Joaquin Phoenix Joker also come from another universe.
