I like how Lucifer is cool and all with a world without extremes and accepts it's possible even if it takes a long time
By the very definition of his ideals; if the neutral ground is stronger than his extreme, that is what is right then and he will accept it. Lucifer has a very 'might makes right' attitude. He lost? Fair enough. He's wrong then.
It feels like the Angels are clearly designed in a way that doesn't seem to truly like humans at all. However Lucifer seems more likeable and noble. But knowing that he's a demon, it might be a deception, just to try to win.
@@Gazing-09 In a way, it is. He ultimately is someone whose capabilities lie in tempting others into somewhat decent deals that also benefit him well
He isn't disdainful of the Neutral alignment, though he believes that if an ideal is to be achieved, its sponsors must prove themselves worthy of being able to carry it through

Side with the angels and live a life of strict law mixed with "big brother is watching" peace, where passing judgment on others without question is acceptable. Side with the demons and live a life of freedom mixed with the philosophy of "everyone for themselves", where fighting for survival day after day is the norm. Gee, I can't imagine which sounds more enticing. XD

I see a distinctive lack of Hama skills in your abilities. Are they not worth or there are other reasons to chose Mudo skills over them?
I just happened to get Mudo first. Also, before this fight I only had 7 skill slots (you get the 8th one really late), so there was no space for hama. I wasn't too worried cause I had a lot of hamaon stones, but I do get a light spell by the end of the video :p

Holy shit. Asahi can reach level 72 without getting the Diarahan healing spells?
Funny thing is, Asahi never gets Diarahan or Mediarahan.
She does however get the ability to give out smirks. And her awakened power pretty much buffs those heals up to pretty much the same level. So it is more that she does not need them but it is also likely a balance issue.
Lol, whats your opinion on just casually fighting and beating Merkabah and Lucifer right after the other?
For me, it was a long hard fight because I was underlevelled, under-equipped (no debilitate or luster candy), and overall unprepared because I didn't expect to fight them one after another. Merkabah was a doozey with his one hit kill move that he saves for the end.
I would normally go Law route on my playthrough’s but with IV and IV: Apocalypse Merkhabah made me rethink my choices, as for the Chao’s route I often agree with what Lucifer has to say, though he often dilutes the truth to accomplish his own means. Either way it was a really fun battling against notable ancient deities in a war that goes back to the beginning of the universe

I see you magic stat is maxed out , should I focus on that stat ? I have been doing a blind playthough and my strength is my highest stat
Young King magic is the most important stat in the game since you tend to use magic attacks a lot and agility is a close second because it helps to land your attacks more often.
Merkabah seems to think very highly of himself. Arrogance at its finest.

Likely he's wearing the Wise King Bracelet. Since Omega has mostly done a magic build for Nanashi, adding the bracelet bumps up it another 50 points when equipped.
Yes, also he's been putting at least 4 points in magic every level up too

Fuck me, I didn't know that Merkabah was weak to death and Lucifer weak to expel.
Took me lots of grinding and fusion to get past this part.
The reworking of Hama and Mudo spells into standard damage skills meant that bosses could legitimately have weaknesses to them now. Which throws veterans in for a loop after years of ignoring these for boss fights.
I only knew that Krishna was weak to Mudo, so I wasted all my Mudo Stones on him and then fused all the demons with Mudo.
The merkabah you face in SMTIV, was a fake one?
Nope, its the same. Remember this takes place before Flynn fought Merkabah and Lucifer in the Neutral route (and that route changed a long while ago when the Divine Powers appeared)

Oh...I've watched this entire playthrough and legitimately thought this was taking place after SMTIV. *shrug* I've still really enjoyed watching this game.
