Something I see often about Demi-Fiend is that he sees you as a normal encounter when you fight him as a boss. But seeing him get beaten and then seeing 'Demi-Fiend smirks' gives me the head canon that Demi-Fiend is finally finding a challenge. After all this time.
So, the best part about this is that it gives you an idea of how absurdly powerful Stephen is. After a full fight with the main heroes of the entire MegaTen series at their strongest, he isn't even fazed. He just decides that you are worthy and says: "Welp, my job here is done." You don't even beat him, he just lets you get past him.

i like how stephen sitting in his wheelchair basically supresses his power, the moment he got up, he was instantly surrounded by magnetite which signifies the amount of power he has in his hands thats seems to be simply suppressed by a wheelchair

You know what's more impressive with watching this marathon of a fight? The fact that it shows WHY you had to fight Stephen with two parties, messiahs alone is a near impossibility, and I do think I've seen someone do this fight without using the messiahs as well. He's just THAT tough, really damn impressive with so many close calls!
The fact that, aside of the Hero, the Messiahs being at their most powerful who they can defeat Lucifer, YHVH and their most powerful followers with little help, they need to work together to stand against a transcended human like Stephen who can bend the laws of the universe.
The whole idea behind Stephen is that, like his real life counterpart, while he does believe in gods, he rather want humanity to rely on themselves than letting the gods decide for them because we won't able to acknowledge our weaknesses and flaws if we keep relying on worship, especially if said gods never cared for us.
Triple parties: 1 for The Hero, Aleph, Demi-Fiend, and Flynn, the second one for Nanashi, Nahobino, smt 6 protag, smt 7 protag, and the last one is for smt 7 final or smt 8 protag with 3 demons

I love these fights and stephen is just a dtronger YHVH LOVE the two party system With SMT V adds new mechanics and has its own superboss like this that is super fun
I've always wondered if this was possible. I was picturing a mod that would just outright remove Nanashi's team (and on the flipside, remove Crack Code from Steven's moveset because that move only makes sense in a double battle) but this works too
Crack Code could still work with a single team since he doesn’t start using it until around turn 10 or something, so Phys/Gun weaknesses could be open by then which would allow the team to hit him and use a Bead Chain on the same turn. Obviously that’s not something that he should be doing often or the battle wouldn’t be reasonable, but he doesn’t do it that often here anyway
On the hardest difficulty with the strongest protagonists to even have a slight chance at successfully fighting the strongest being of the MegaTen multiverse

Nope. In Apocalypse, Salvation only cures ailments if the user is smirking, which is essentially never. I only had three press turns to work with and I chose to use Magaon with Shiva, so I gambled that Seraph could hit him then use a Dekaja Stone with Demonee-ho. I was trying to protect the other team as much as possible so I didn't want to use a turn to heal Nanashi, but it really backfired.

As far as I remember, the only stat boosters I used were the 16 Armor Boost Kits that can be found in various Power Spot caches throughout the game. Those boost Nanashi's HP by 480, and the Life Surge accessory gives Nanashi 30% more HP on top of that. I may have also boosted Nanashi's Agility a small amount, but even if I did, that wouldn't matter at all. Stephen's attacks virtually never miss and the whole point of using the Trident to attack was to consistently hit Stephen regardless of Nanashi's Agility stat. None of the demons have their stats boosted and it wouldn't matter even if they did for this battle.

Nahobino and demi fiend aren't "camperable" to Aleph. They sh*t on him and could kill him with a fart.
No, he is above them, since he's a scientist and is intelligent to understand The Axiom, he is literally a part of it now, and thats why he is so powerful, also it explains why some of the attacks are based on metaphysics, same as his "Meta" Race, since he uses Black Holes and the such as attacks.

I looked into this and it turns out that YHVH's second form and Stephen have scarily similar skillsets.
Stephen is the super boss really his moveset is just a stronger YHVH
