This is AMAZING!!!! Thank you for making and showing and doing all of this!!! 9th grader next year and I’m gathering alllll the info I can. This was so helpful. And you’re an amazing mom/woman.
Yay!! Thank you!! It is so reassuring to hear your experience with homeschool!! This will be our first year. 9th grade and 3rd grade and 2 twin toddlers running around😊I will be working on our future plans for HS very soon. Such a great idea!! I have been learning,as you taught, to just plan and do it!! And I won’t be so stressed. Hope you guys have a great year!! And thank you for this video. Will be watching more!
My new favorite 😃 homeschool video - thank you! Yes, I always combine History with Geography since they are studying what happened, then it only makes sense that they learn where that particular history took place. In addition, where the history topic took place would be to have at least a basic understanding of what is around that area of study.
This video is so helpful. Step by Step instructions with so much detail. I will be starting high school in fall of 2025 and I was so worried. This is a great start to organizing my fours years in advance. Thank you.
This has been the most helpful video I've found on creating a HS plan! A lucky bonus for me is that I'm also homeschooling in Idaho. ☺Thank you Homeschool Joy!
I teach high school auto shop. Been working on a at home auto class. I would love to chat about it with you to see if it would be something home school families would find beneficial
Absolutely!! I think you have a great idea for families around you. You would be a great mentor and HS families are always looking for tutors to help with things they don’t have knowledge about. I’d go for it. Thanks for watching! 😊🌼
Excellent video and so practical! You broke everything down in a way that I could see and understand. I have been very overwhelmed with high school (next year I will have a 9th grader) but I feel much more encouraged now. :) Thank you SO much!!
Love this! I need to take a look at our plan we made when she was entering 9th; now she's entering 11th and I need to get her into dual enrollment asap. By the way, your house looks great - we're about to start renovating and I'm a bit overwhelmed with school starting back up.
Remodeling is distracting but getting yourself planned out before you start will help school go smoother and you’ll be fine. Good luck with school and your house! 😊🌼

@@homeschooljoy I’ve homeschooled my kids from the beginning in this year I officially have a high schooler. Exciting times! Thank you for not making it seem so intimidating.
Agreed that it was a good choice of music, just a bit too loud. Thank you for this video!! It helped make it less daunting of a process. We have an up and coming 8th grader... oldest... so starting to look into all this. Treasure to have found your video. You have a great demeanor and sweet presenting voice. God bless.
Hello! I saw that another mom asked about curriculum, I checked to see if you have specific videos but couldn't find any...I am attempting to plan for 10th grade for my son. Could you give me a list of your curriculum favorites so I can look into them? I m pretty familiar with curriculum for grade school but I m sure others are better for older kiddos.
I do have a language arts video where I talk about the curriculum I use and have used for English, etc. The math my HS son uses is Teaching Textbooks. I am working on a video for other subjects like history, geography, science, and electives. I am just stuck in bed sick with a nasty case of COVID😬. Thanks so much for watching! 😊🌼

Hello, thank you for this very useful video. Basically homeschooling is no longer legal in France except in limited circumstances and it is still difficult to do.

@nicolemcgriff8597 In my experience I have not had any trouble with colleges accepting those sciences you mentioned for admission. My kids did not apply to those universities that were difficult to get into so take that into account also. Most colleges like to see the test scores of the SAT or ACT and are not too worried about the classes they have taken as long as they have done the requirements for science…but again that’s just my experience. If you are concerned with this, you could talk with the admissions office at the colleges/universities you want your kids to get into and see what they say. Ask them what homeschooled teens wanting to be admitted to their university need to take in the high school years. Thanks so much for the question and for watching!! Blessings to you and your family 🌼😊
