Приветствую! Наконец-то я дождался вашего очередного урока, чтобы поделиться с вами своим, новым для меня, запоздалом открытии.
Речь идёт об учебнике Израилевича и Качаловой !!!
Теперь я понял, откуда происходит грамматика телешоу Петрова! И все другие лучшие видеоуроки по грамматике английского на RUclips.
К сожалению, таким образом грамматику в обычных школах и обычных вузах не преподавали, хотя методика (книга) Израилевича опубликована была официально в качестве пособия для работников международных торговых организаций СССР ещё в конце 40-х годов и успешно переиздавалась много раз подряд маленькими тиражами для узких кругов избранных дипломатов!
Книга была обсуждаема и однозначно рекомендована в качестве наилучшей по грамматике английского в комментариях на канале вашей коллеги и конкурента, откуда я о ней и узнал на минувшей неделе и сейчас читаю её с восхищением! ))
Интересно теперь узнать, известна ли вам эта работа и как давно?
честно говоря, фамилию автора слышала, но не изучала. Думаю, если книга 40-х годов, то она все равно нуждается в доработке. Как минимум, в ней устаревший вариант английского. Но судить не могу, так как не изучала ее
@@okenglish-practice that's interesting to learn! You definitely should look into this textbook maybe just because in many examples given there are some ones about Odessa !!! )))
And since the original publication the textbook underwent many updates by its female coauthor who survived main male author for a long time !!!
Thus it's possible to find out an edition from 60s or later updated solely by Ms Kachalova... And there's a publication available online in PDF dated by the year 2003, which is very fresh.
Anyway the language of the childhood times of the Beatles can't be outdated! )))

А solar eclipse - и в таких моментах ты начинаешь "любить" английскую грамматику и язык в целом.

Вы знаете, если бы язык был "идеальным", без единого исключения, это был бы скучный технический код, как программисты пишут)) (сейчас программист возмутился, потому что написание кода - это тоже творческий процесс).
Язык - это "душа" нации, а душа не может подчиняться строгим алгоритмам.

Спасибо , Елена Викторовна! Эти простые , но такие сложные артикли . Вопрос о space : почему без артикля, это же не космос, а пространство, .... не хватает пространства поставить игрушки, а значит надо употреблять с the....правильно?
Space это и космос, и пространство. Все равно это неисчисляемое. А значит, артикль the если и появится, то только тогда, когда в этом есть веская необходимость. Здесь не нужно.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, по какой причине " I saw piles of boxes..." без артикля the , когда в следующем предложении "How long did it take you to pack all your life into the boxes?" используется артикль The. Почему артикль the не используется в первом предложении?

Пожалуйста, Елена Викторовна, объясните, в чем разница в следующих предложениях: Sarah started unpacking her favorite toys и We started to unpack clothes. Почему в одном случае после started стоит герундий, а в другом инфинитив?
нет разницы, мы же говорили об этом пару уроков назад в теме "инфинитив и герундий"

Елена, в первом предложении - Sarah is moving in with Simon - два предлога in with это точно не опечатка? Когда вы читаете, я слышу только предлог with.
move in - это съезжаться. Если вы указываете, с кем именно съезжаете, то еще добавляем with

Никогда не понимал артикли(
У нас их просто нету, поэтому тяжело научиться их использовать правильно и интуитивно.
Можно пара вопросов:
1) Почему the internet, но не the google?
2) the moon это только наша луна или любая луна? Например в предложении "Фобос это луна Марса" какой артикль надо использовать?
1) the перед названиями организаций не ставится.
2) не знаю, к сожалению, и даже не задумывалась об этом. Но, думаю, the нужно

Здравствуйте! У меня возник следующий вопрос. Предложение «The moon blocks out the sun’s rays and casts a shadow on parts of the earth, eclipsing all or PART of the sun”. PART не неисчесляемое существительное, оно стоит в единственном числе. Почему перед ним не ставим артикль «а» или же some? Спасибо)

не всегда Past perfect используют, даже если есть основание для этого. Часто его заменяют на Past Simple.

Потому что Present perfect указывает на события, которые свершились до момента повествования. Например - I have finished school, даже если Вы ее закончили 20 лет назад

Да, в некоторой мере Вы правы - Past perfect работает именно так - показывает что одно событие в прошлом свершилось раньше другого события, которое также свершилось в прошлом. Но оба события должны быть частью одного предложения, а не частью одного текста.
We started to unpack boxes that Simon had transferred.
Simon has transferred boxes. Later that same day we started to unpack them. I've opened some of boxes, while the rest stayed sealed.
Как-то так, по крайней мере это мое понимание.

Странно. Предложение, в примере - Simon has already transferred them.
Нам говорили, что Past Perfect допустимо использовать, только когда речь идет о событии, которое началось в прошлом, закончилось в прошлом и все это произошло до другого события, которое также было в прошлом и об этом должно четко упоминаться в предложении. Другими словами любое предложение, в котором только одно событие и используется Past Perfect является грамматически неверным.
Если загуглить, то вроде так оно и есть:

Вообще нам в школе, в свое время, сказали: "Если вы не собираетесь идти на ин.яз, то сдайте экзамен и забудьте Past Perfect, Future Perfect и Future Perfect Continuous, эти времена используются редко и вполне реально строить речь так, чтобы вообще не было бы необходимости использовать их. Без должного образования и опыта вы, скорее, их будете использовать неверно и вообще ни к месту"))))
