Прекрасный урок, побудиаший меня к воспомининиям о счастливом времени нашего путешествия семьей со старшими сыном и дочерью. Это был май 2013 года. Мы прилетели в Ш.де Голь, где нас ждала новая машина в ренту и мы двинулись к границей с Германией к Страсбургу. Пооехав по городам пол Германии, следущая была Бельгия с ее старинными Гентом, Брюгге, Брюсселем. Чистое побережье Фламанской атлантики с солн.майскими днями навсегда останется в памяти моих детей. На обратном пути была Франция, которая тоже необыкновенно вписалась в колорит этих трех стран нашей поездки. Дисней-Лэнд для детей в их юнош.возрасте останется в памяти на всю жизнь. Англ.язык мне тогда очень пригодился. Какое же было время. А если учесть, что в декабре того же 13-года мы с супругой взяли младшего в его 4 года и провели шикарно 2 недели на Сейшелах на островах, то это был потрясающий год по впечатлениям.
Без языка , конечно же нигде не возможно. Благодарю, Елена, за Ваши уроки. Еще пригодится, уверен.

I'd like to travel to Germany one day, I have my relatives there. I may travel there next year if everything's alright. As I think, travelling to another country is necessary for everyone, just one trip a year for the beginning. Seeing other nation, culture, places is really fascinating, of course.
Traveling broadens our mind.

Случайно наткнулась на ваше длинное видео о грамматике для уровня intermediate, зацепило название, т.к не встречала раньше таких видео, интересно стало, как можно рассказать о всей грамматике в 1 видео, очень любопытно. Понравилось, конспектировала даже, потом перешла на плейлист подробный. Уже полгода смотрю)
У меня вопрос по тексту о Клэр. Вот предложение: He was trying to persuade me for about 10 minutes that I needed a new T-shirt.
Я бы поставила past perfect continuous вместо past simple (т.е. He HAD BEEN TRYING to persuade me for about 10 minutes that I needed a new T-shirt), если бы увидела такое где-то задание, т.к есть длительность, указано в течение какого времени происходило действие в прошлом. Я не права? Если да, то почему неправильно? как в таких ситуациях размышлять правильно, чтобы понять past cont. или past perf. cont.?
И еще маленький вопрос по тому же тексту. там написано: I can't take my eyes of it. Здесь всё верно? или вместо OF надо OFF?

Теперь ваши вопросы:
1 По поводу past perfect. Да, можно было бы и его использовать, но я заметила тенденцию, что нередко его заменяют на past continuous (как в это примере). Ваш вариант был бы абсолютно верным. Просто привыкайте к тому, что в английском могут допускаться варианты, как сказать одно и то же.
2) Да, конечно, off.

Здравствуйте, Елена Викторовна, хотел бы поинтересоваться насчёт темы subjunctive mood, дайте пожалуйста небольшой совет в плане того правильно ли я понимаю определение этой темы или нет, потому что я так заметил, что у subjunctive mood нет какой-то определенной схемы построения и это именно подразумеваются разные предложения с определенным смыслом, который выражает "желание, возможность, сомнение, нереальность", потому что вот предложения снизу это все subjunctive mood, но они никак не связаны схожей грамматикой и схемой построения

Елена викторовна. Подскажите, пожалуйста, почему во втором предложении l'm in a bus? В вашем специальном уроке Вы объяснили, что находиться в транспорте это "l'm on the bus". Это какое-то исключение?
Если мы подчеркиваем,что находимся внутри автобуса, то in использовать можно. go on a bus - ехать на автобусе (перемещаться с помощью автобуса). be in a bus - находиться в автобусе (внутри)

I think it's better not to use this expression at all. You better change it for something like 'it's annoying'

Я уже привыкла, что черные, которые не в Африке - это афроамериканцы.Но вы правы, что это нелогично. Хотя, если называть их "черные" или "негры", то, вроде как, они обижаются.

очень надеюсь, что это шутка. Ничего расистского я не имела ввиду, это констатация факта. Тем более, что я ничего не писала о темнокожих ребятах в плохом свете кроме того, что они очень агрессивно ведут торговлю. Белые там так не торгуют вообще (даже не припомню, чтоб я белых торговцев статуэтками видела). И это правда. Я уверена, что когда вы сами с ними столкнетесь в Париже, то будете иметь такое же мнение. Это примерно так же, как у нас держатся подальше от цыган на вокзалах. Я уверена, у вас нет расистских мыслей по поводу циган, но вы просто знаете,что лучше на них даже не смотреть, а то как пристанут, так потом не отстанут. И судьбу твою расскажут, и ручку попросят позолотить и всё такое.
И при этом, к примеру, меня лично очень повеселил темнокожий паренек, с которым мы торговались. Сначала мы выбили у него скидку, потом он узнал, откуда мы, и начала вспоминать все слова, что знает на нашем языке (и знает он их немало).
Так что, я лучше дополнительно объясню свою позицию для тех, у кого могут возникнуть вопросы по тексту. А то люди нынче странно к некоторым вещам относятся.
