    Kyle is my favorite on the Elites because he seems real and does what he has to survive but has no problem telling you to F off if he has to!!

    Thank you, Kyle and Hunter, for keeping it down to earth and simple. Love the Bandit videos, I fish out of an 18ft aluminum boat since 2007. I used to have a Ranger bassboat but sold it to get back to simple fishing. Love the content and info of your videos.please keep it that way. Thank You so much, Kyle and Hunter.😊

    Found some nice spots on Harding a few weeks ago and did not have the proper jig head to get to them as they were in a ditch at about 35 feet schooling on bait caught one after I dropped it on his head but it was luck, lesson learned and jig heads ordered😂

    There is never a day I fish without a jig tied on, it’s just that effective! I love chatterbait fishing but when things get to where I need a bite I pick up the jig!

    Thanks, Kyle! I've heard some good things about the Muse II; maybe consider talking about it and the C2 in a future video, as that reel seems to have become your favorite. I have a Gen 1 Muse, but mainly throw the Omen. Most "seasonal" videos aren't too relevant to me in Florida, but I still pick up some tips from what you tell us. Thanks again and congratulations on an amazing 2023!

    Kyle, appreciate the content. I just bought a few Ace jigs to try. I was wondering if you recommend bending the hook out at all or use straight out of package (BTW I really like the package that the Jig came in)

    On the Ned, minnow, craw and other forages, as described by a very considerate NE river bass angler.

    • @academicmailbox7798
      @academicmailbox7798 7 месяцев назад

      An expert in a specialism, Jake Villwock an angler on rivers and lakes in PA and NY State talked about his impression of seasonal bass behavior. An interview he did in ep 534 of Wet Fly Swing. Something that anglers there tried to make called a Ned Fly? A fly to imitate a Ned. What are we doing?
      Jake has a number of his fly patterns for river fish on his Relentless TV fishing channel. His small tungsten patterns there described in his episode. I never thought as much though before about bottom forage and fish behaviors.

    • @academicmailbox7798
      @academicmailbox7798 7 месяцев назад

      Until I had listened to Jake talking about Neds and crays, I thought that an angler from Texas was the only person who thought that much about crays or craw dad forage. I think I recall Andrew Upshaw describe a day when himself and Todd Castledine fished a Ned in Texas in some way, that shouldn't work. But it did. I think they fished a Ned power fishing style through grass. There aren't that many folks who have tried to fathom how bass react to cray fish as much as Todd Castledine since then. Howeer, the northern version of angler might be Jake. Then I began to think about it some more. The Ozarks area anglers further to the northern central areas have a whole thing about fishing cray fish too. Which is characteristically their own. Dating back a few generations now. And Kyle is looking at it from a south eastern region angler's perspective. And it occurs to me, that Kyle has thought about cray fish way too much. On top of all the others. My conclusion about all of this? Well, I get cray fish matter. That's all.

      And in case I forgot, there is an angler named Bob Clouser who developed something called a Clouser minnow, which is far from being a minnow imitation at all. But it's something again that Bob has cast in the smallest of creeks and streams for bass. Now that I think about it, I can't help but think there that Bob was aiming for a crawfish bite or taking fish too. And Bob I think was more associated with Florida, his Clouser minnow became a staple saltwater flats pattern too. Where fish forage along flats bottoms (it's not unlike what Jake in the NE was talking about more recently too in his experience). And Jake talks about Chocklett and his foam game changers further north into Virginia. Brian Latimer is a huge advocate for Ned style fishing in his lakes too. It seems as though it's the one forage type. That anywhere you go, any time of year practically. You cannot avoid having to confront. Bass just use crayfish as a food source, and trout do too I've zero doubt any longer. Wherever you go.

      Dude never give up on a jig! It can be “less fun” the. Throwing moving stuff but damn, once you dial it in, it’s too versatile! Also catches BIGGUNS!
