Just found your channel. I like the way you guys are taking it slow. That is exactly what I am doing. I got my boat in April of 2024 and looking for the problems never leaving the dock thus far. So far repairs and minimal.. few deck leaks and a fresh water pump. My list mostly has upgrades on it the first of witch was the ground tackle so a new oversized Rocna anchor replaces the old CQR. When I do leave the dock if all goes south I like knowing I can stay put until I work it out.

There is definitely a sweet spot between waiting for everything to be unrealistically perfect and going without any sensible preparation.
