I don’t care what anyone says, Creed was a great band and had a whole slew of bangers around the turn of the millennium. Maybe they were “overplayed”, but that’s just because they had so many great songs that could easily fit into regular rotation on nearly every radio station, from rock to adult contemporary. What If, My Sacrifice, With Arms Wide Open, Higher, and pretty much every single they ever had was stellar.
Creed “with arms wide open” is my absolute favorite. It came out just before my daughter was born & it hits me in the gut every time I hear it. & I think it applies to all new parents
I was going through a rough divorce, I attempted to end myself and Creed’s first album had just dropped. My own prison, what’s this life for… man, some people trash Creed but they got me through that time

Fell in love with their My Own Prison album, and the anticipation for Human Clay (2nd album) was off the charts. That album is just such an incredible journey from start to finish. EVERYTHING is hard hitting, even the not hard rock songs. The message is so raw and powerful.
Been a creed fan since my own prison never understood why they were disliked they wrote some great songs, they knew when to write heavy and mellow one of my favorite bands

Creed is a great band. There will be many that say they aren’t good but Creed is a lot like Nickleback and people just like to hate on them
