Another great one. I've been playing for many years, and love your fresh, unique and inspiring perspective in every video. You often get me to look at things through a new lens, and teach this old dog a few new tricks along the way. Bravo.
Thanks for this lesson, when i started playing guitar i imagined the Chords as people interacting with each Other, but i got lost of IT. Nö found it again
Another real lovely lesson delivered with style and immense skill! thanks. You mention Eastern music as if its "alien" but you clearly have a strong influence and knowledge of eastern playing (Indian gamaka, konokol, ? ) can you do a few lessons on adapting eastern musical tips to western playing? That would be awesome. Obviously Im a big John McLaughlin & Shakti band fan....
Hi I whould be super interested in how to build modal chord progressions, like dorian, or lidian... I'm pretty sure you have covered that topic. Could you give me the link ? And if you have not covered this topic, what a great vid it would be ! :-D:-D:-D:-D:-D:-D

One of my favorites of your opening improvs-really nice! Just tabbing that out or playing through it would be a worthy lesson on its own.
That intro story was like dancing on the moon 🌙... Thanks David 😊

That's like a Holdsworth approach huh?
Ha... First!
Without the runs and licks in between, the chords don't really connect as well and there's not nearly as much excitement.
Can't tell if serious.
