      We run the same here in Maine, 32 tons on a tri-ax trailer, 24 tons on a tri-ax and 18 on a wheeler. 100,000, 76,000 and 60,000 GVW respectively.

      No, the gvw keeps you at B, Class C gives you up 80k+

      @@d.d.t.7239 What? There's no weight restriction on a B CDL, you'd only need an A to drive combination tractor trailer weighing more than 26,001 GCVWR. A class C is for 26,001 and below, you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

    • @LargeCarjw
      @LargeCarjw  4 года назад +9

      Bam Bam, it all depends upon your state laws and how to haul the most and still meet Federal and state Bridge Laws. Yes, you are correct they look funny but they make more money when put in the right situations and have killer resale value. Thanks for watching!

      When you run illegal, anything is possible. Maybe your hauls are short distance with minimal bridges and roads Nowhere in the U.S. can you run 24 tons on 1 pusher, it has to be 3 or more

      @@d.d.t.7239 Wrong, I'm on the thruway NY to NJ almost every day with a tri axle at 24 Tons and I've been weighed at DOT stops in CT, NJ, Mass, PA. DE, and never got an overweight ticket. Hush.
