We were spoiled, Great time to see them with Paul, his smooth flowing cruchy riffs and exceptional rhythm made for new reinvented UFO, yeah i missed out on the schenker years but we Loved this era, Brilliant! 🎉❤
Some folks think that UFO was done after Schenker left but it doesn’t sound like it here. There is plenty of great material from the Chapman era. The band may have gone in a slightly different direction but they definitely rocked!
My fellow UFO fan I saw a Chapman do his debut replacing Michael Schenker his first show bro my man was staged right he did not move the whole show but then the following year I saw him he was all over the place man yeah Chapman to Go guitar player... But I hate it when he tries to do the leads that Michael Schenker already laid down because he talks about so bad he just does his own thing.. Shaker is God I got the MSG logo with a guitar tattoo on my forearm and I met him three times in the autographed it for me
Paul Martin Raymond (16 November 1945 - 13 April 2019) Paul William Chapman (9 June 1954 - 9 June 2020) Peter Frederick Way (7 August 1951 -14 August 2020) RIP brothers...thank you for rocking our asses off. See you in the other side 😎
Бооже,благодарю интернет за то что я теперь знаю эту группу.Я представления не имела кто они такие.В начале 80 годов под песню Беладонна танцевали в клубе,но мы и знать не знали про УФО.А Фил это просто чудо!❤❤❤
Paul Chapman was a really good guitarist. He had big shoes to fill by replacing Michael Schenker but he did a great job. Pete Way looks so cool the way he plays his bass. Great band, great time to like music, before the horrible synth-Pop of the 80s.
Paul stood out on his own, but Michael left a giant shadow. It was very much like Jake E. Lee constantly being in the shadow of Randy. It didn't matter how good Jake was, and I think he was at least as good as Randy. But that's the way it is. Michael was impossible to deal with in the late 70s. He clashed with Phil and the band all the time, drank a lot, was constantly late to shows or walked off stage. He pulled some very unprofessional shenanigans. He's since cleaned up his act but it's not hard to understand why they parted ways, even though the band was doing very well.
The current bass player Rob DeLuca is a fellow veteran of the Boston Metal scene. We were in different camps as I was a Thrash guy and he was a Glam Metal guy. But I liked band he was in called "Bang". They were pretty good. They were part of only a handful of Glam bands I liked such as Dokken, Stryper, Keel, W.A.S.P as well as kiss and Ozzy Osbourne as well as the reformed "Misdemeanor" UFO.
This UFO concert is from november 29th 1980, live at the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund in Germany. It was also broadcasted on the German TV channel WDR and the musicprogramme was called "Rockpalast". Rockpalast still exist today on German TV. Since 2010 is this UFO concert also available on a DVD.
Great song! I love the Chapman era, just total jam, thanks for posting!

No way paul chapman was a brilliant guitar player he made ufo sound alot more heavy.
I saw Chapman live and he is an excellent guitarist and great replacement for Schenker.

My fave on this underrated album.
Every song on The Wild,The Willing, and the Innocent rocks!
Kerrang hailed it as UFO greatest album when it came out, so not so underrated. My fave to this day, every song kills.
Fantastic tune!!!
