Great video man! You look like a very down to earth guy and chill to be around. I am also diving into the field of ICT and i look forward to more of your videos. Thanks for sharing a fragment of your experience.
Thanks so much for the kind words it really means a lot. I’ll continue to try to make more content! Also welcome aboard to the world of IT it’s a field of constant learning so always enjoy the process!
Love to hear man keep at it. Focus on doing labs as often as you can as that gives the best the practice. Also stick with it and don’t give up no matter how hard it gets!
Working from home is no different than working in the office. Depends on if you actually have to touch the equipment or not. Because remember you can always SSH into an a device remotely. Also, my commute is not that long probably like 15 minutes.
At your job as a Network Engineer, are you sometimes required to work beyond the 8 hours a day time frame? Do you sometimes unexpectedly get a call on the weekends or during off hours to work to resolve a problem?
It’s funny you just commented this because I just made a video talking about this that I’ll upload very soon. But yes, there are times where you may need to work odd hours like overnight but it really just depends on the team you work at.
I just got offered network analyst position. I’m so scared as I don’t have experience. I worked as a help desk analyst for a year but NOC analyst will be completely different. Any tips?
Congratulations on your new offer. In the beginning, you’re always going to feel like you’re not ready, but you have to push through it. Imposter syndrome will be real however, if you ask questions and take lots of notes, you’ll be fine.
@NetworkWali hey, thanks for replying back, bro. My question is, if I want to become a cyber security engineer, would it be best to go into network first before thinking about anything security related ?

But in my case, luckily for my team, there’s a whole overnight team. And we do like an on-call rotation, which is like once every three months.
I seen our network engineer pull some crazy ass hours but it pays off and it’s a on call rotation
I passed CCNA couples of months ago but I didn’t get any jobs even help desk. What’s your suggestion?
Schedule a call with me(check the link below). I’ll check your resume and some other things for you.
How much time is required to pass it ? I'm new just finished high school no knowledge about IT

Thanks 🙏🏾
Can network engineers work remotely, or do you have to be at a data centre ? Also, what labs would you recommend for CCNA
You can work remotely, my current position is hybrid so half and half
