I'm pretty certain Chevy Cruze is Spanish for coolant leak.

This is super common of chevy cruzes, all mounted components to the engine are pretty much all plastic. There are a few companies making aftermarket replacements for these that are metal instead of plastic.

Dorman does, order direct from them.
Paint JBWeld over the plastic parts. Dry for 24- hours.

Absolutely shocked it's lasted THIS long. I've replaced mine 3 times since 2015. Also 3 thermostat housings, the radiator and water pump. LUV 1.4 turbos are total garbage.

@hill_customs6807 the coolants been drained out more times than I can count. Auto Zone universal antifreeze for 9 years and still nothing but problems. In fact it ate another thermostat housing just last Saturday!!
