You should try the scanner room, use drones to scout areas. Nothing attacks to drone and the HUD is very immersion breaking so even a complete pussy should be fine
I really wanted to buy the original subnautica but I bought below zero Subnautica instead.❤️ Love this game! I used to be a scuba diver. Dived deep in the most tropical locations. Around the world.I really enjoyed this video! Thank you. 🙏 I subscribed!
You've missed out so much. I would also get the green Delta island , and the margarite storyline first. So The green house would be your 3rd visit. You also missed out the ice caves with the ice worm. The penglings can be used on dozens of small hole caves. The 'big doors area is called Coppa mine. And with ease, you can get the prawn suit down there which is great because the totall amount of materials you can mine here would fill up your full inventory and the prawn suit storage nearly 5 times! Lots of titanium down there and Ruby, silver and copper. I would suggest finding the parts for the storage pod for the Sea truck. It can hold 72 items and you can stack these so you can two or three, carry them around and it gives you way more opportunity to take hundreds of materials back to your base. I've also found out that the drill arm on the Prawn suit is fantastic for killing predators with. Combine that with the torpedo launcher and you're a killing machine. All 13 of the secret achievements are very easy to get for this game providing you know your locations. So make lots of Beacons and drop them at any interesting point you find... you can always turn them off and on in the menu. I didn't know about the taking selfie with Mr Pengling though so thank you. And yes you're correct about this game looking wonderful, there has been some truly exceptional thought gone into the locations in this game. Peace out bro.
Oh yeah theres a whole bunch of fun stuff. You can even make a base on land farther inland if you are really feeling up to it. Not very necessary but always a fun idea nonetheless.
For anyone exploring the Big Doors area, if you start out at the lighthouse, facing opposite the dock, go forward and down to some thermal geysers. There's actually a small cave system in there that'll let you bring your seatruck with no modules throughout the entire area
@@fanachy7861 You can? For me it did not work to get the sea truck in, but I used two oxygen tanks to explore the mining site (one being active and the other one in the inventory, but remember to refill it after use, the downside is that it uses up a lot of space in your inventory).
"Big door thingy" is the Omega base my friend. That's the Omega symbol anyways, not sure what the official name of the base is tho lol. But it's funny because I found it exactly as you described lol, almost died like a hundred times going down through the geothermal vents (aka complete nightmare maze), then eventually stumbled across the Omega area and found that super spooky vertical tunnel. Panicked when I got to the top and couldn't see an exit anywhere around, so I swam back down like a goober and just barely made it to an oxygen plant. 😅 Soooo nice to know where the other entrance is now lmao, thanks mate!
@@kaylamichl6460 Ooh that actually makes a lot of sense, I must have missed that PDA. 😅 The symbol on the door is of the Omega symbol tho, so maybe it's implying that the mining base is a part of Omega base? I hardly believe that's a coincidence.
I think it's called the Koppa Mine. All the others have Greek names like Phi, so it should have been Kappa, but it sounds like Copper. It's on the map of installations with the others but is the only one that the game story never sends you to.
I think if you type the timestamps with timestamps before description (e.g. 0:26 - Outpost Zero) it will be parsed by youtube and added to the video automatically
Loving the guide just feel like I am behind. Finally built a battery charger and constructed my Seatruck.... need more friggen silver to create a dang compass 🤦🏼♀️
Try building scanner rooms around the Delta station and scan for argentite outcrops, they're pretty useful. You can even make camera drones that you can use to scan the areas.
How is the weather in your game so calm when outside water? In my game it only stays calm for 5 seconds before there is a "dangerous weather approaching", which greatly reduces the visibility range making it so much harder to get lost and find your way around... then you get 5 more seconds of clearish weather before it goes again to blizzard mode
When I play the game the weather is extremely unpredictable and can get real insane but for this video to make it easier for you I used a console command to make the weather clear. ( Similar to that like I did when looking at the wales 16:04 )
I managed to kill one after a lot of effort only to realise that’s not how you get fur. Then found it’s ‘nest’ with the babies and just helped myself to loads of it! I was so annoyed with myself lol!
Yes i do believe there were a couple entrances/exits but for simplicity I wanted to show most obvious because you need to go to her moonpool base anyway.
This is dope but the pod does spawn in a few random spots so some of these will be slightly off. Not a huge huge deal but ive seen some of these done with delta station dock as the fixed starting point. Idk if thats something you wanna do? I mean this is good enough fo sho
It's phi (f-eye)is how it sounds. And it's the most buggy place in the game so many cracks to fall through the map i got stuck inside the ice several times it sucked
Unfortunately I’m playing on the switch version and this works for one of my saves but for another one of my saves it’s different I have no clue how please help
The game will lead you everywhere that is crucial to the story but it will only get you so far and in most cases it brings you to a generic direction to go so its easy to get lost

It definitely seemed like more of a smaller game than a full length one. I can see it being half the price for half the content but it was still fun. I really just want juke boxs in the first game haha
Does anyone know why now when I log into Sub Nautica below zero for PC there is no longer a controller setting in the options and I can't use my microsoft controller on my pc anymore?
This literally helped so much I’m to scared of the Leviathans to explore randomly
I built my base so close to one of them that one time it dove up through my moonpool..... that was terrifying

I found the green house by accident early on, but the door is locked. Without Spoilers, does it unlock later on?
You have to follow the story a bit before it unlocks. Speak with margaurite at the base shown in this video
