Let me tell you I LOVE the idea of Dracula finding his demise when Goliath grabs him, turns to stone and Dracula vanishes in the suns rays! Thats so fucking awesome, man!

The co-creator has confirmed that Dracula does exist in this universe and that there were plans for having him cross paths with the Clan. No such plans have been mentioned about Frankenstein's Monster, although Coldstone has clear parallels. The fact that Xanatos clearly references the famous "IT'S ALIVE!!!" scene seems to indicate that the fictional Monster exists in-universe, which may indicate that the character is fictional there. On the other hand, Dracula as a fictional character was also referenced in the show, and the Halloween episode showed someone dressed as Dracula, so who knows? Hopefully, if the Dynamite comics continue, we may get to see.
Also, in the episode with Anubis, they use the Sacred Tana Leaves to bring him forth. Those mcguffins were also used to raise Kharis, the Mummy in "The Mummy's Hand" and Klaris in "Abbot and Costello meet the Mummy" -- and the comedy duo also met Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, and Dracula. In a sense, if you follow crossovers, they are ALREADY in the same universe.
Yes that's a great idea to see these mythological monsters take on the Gargoyles perhaps Dracula and the Frankenstein monster appear in a two-part episode and eventually either team up add fight each other or fight the Gargoyles in one story he kidnaps Eliza in order to make him her his bride either Dracula or the Frankenstein monster for the Wolfman appears as well
Alt Dracula story: Goliath & co show up somewhere during the world tour, get spotted by a local, and to their shock he yells that gargoyles are not allowed there and they need to return to the castle. Confused but intrigued, they find the castle and learn that it's home to vampires, gargoyles, and their human allies, and it's owned by Dracula himself. As it turns out, Dracula & the other vampires are now rather chill. The area's surrounded by wolves, bandits, and all kinds of criminals, making things very dangerous for regular people, so the humans live at the castle, guard it by day, and occasionally donate blood to feed the vampires, while the vampires and gargoyles protect the castle and their human allies by night. And it works for everyone. But outside the castle, a religious madman and his brainwashed followers team with bandits in a plot to destroy the castle, slaughter everyone there, and plunder its wealth. And they're using Goliath showing up where gargoyles weren't allowed to finally get the support they need to kick off their plans. Plans that are disrupted by Elisa citing international terrorism laws and threatening to call in a military response. And then Dracula captures the leaders and cites a local law, that states that anyone who endangers his people become his bloodbag.
With Frankenstein's Monster I can actually see him ending up with the Redemption Squad, the group of ex-antagonists with the surviving Hunter - Robyn Canmore-, Dingo (post his encounter and merging with the Nanite intelligence Matrix), Yama (the Gargoyle of the Japanese Ishimura clan who betrayed his clan), and Fang (of the Labyrinth Clan led by Talon). They were featured in a the Spin-off series Gargoyles: Bad Guys that ran for 6 comic issues.
Vampires and werewolves were mentioned as being part of the Gargoyles' universe in the episode "I'll Met By Moonlight" where we got to see Oberon and Tatiana in the flesh. I like the idea of Dracula being a twisted mirror of David Xanatos. And your Frankenstein's Monster story for Adam seems perfect for the world of Gargoyles. And on the subject of Dracula. Have you seen the animated DTV flick THE BATMAN Vs. DRACULA ? It came out in 2005 alongside the ongoing Kids' WB animated series THE BATMAN. Set in that world. Dracula, voiced by Peter Stormare, is resurrected in Gotham City after accidently being revived by the Penguin. Excellent flick that pushes the envelope on its PG-13 rating.
Technically, Katherine only confirmed that there is vampire/werewolf lore, and didn't claim any solid evidence - but the latter seems likely given we got a werefox and werepanthers. Regardless, the creator Greg Weisman seems sure that given enough episodes they would have incorporated everything, including Santa Claus. They may have already scratched their Frankenstein itch with Coldstone though.
Im still waiting for Disney to pull the trigger and finally cross over Gargoyles into Marvel. Give me Gargoyles and Spiderman crossover Disney! CHOP! CHOP!😂
I like the idea of adding the most famous of movie monsters to the Gargoyles universe. I think the Mummy and the Wolfman would work as well. I've always thought this animated series was under-rated, under appreciated, and deserves a serious reboot. It is one of my favorite animated series of all time.
Drac and Frank would have been perfect for the "world tour" arch and honestly would have been formidable oponents for the gargoyles, especially if they were made accurate to their respective books.
Not gonna lie, if they use Book Dracula for the crossover, it would be an interesting foe for the Manhattan Clan to face off against. Imagine an immortal monster who could grapple with Goliath and give him a decent challenge with his hypnotic powers. I see this as probably a teamwork boost for the clan as they would try to stop the bloodsucker before he consumes most of New York.
@@dubuyajay9964 I can actually see this crossover happening in a few ways; especially when it comes to characters that later appear in the show like Anubis. If the god of death got involved, I can see it that Dracula's evil soul and power is of such a magnitude, that it breaches the very underworld itself in terms of horrid energy. Anubis, hateful of most undead or zombie creatures due to them breaking from his grasp, breaks out of his soulful realm to aid Goliath in vanquishing the Count so the breaches can end. The Count takes both the combined efforts of Anubis's magic, the Manhattan clans full might, and the eventual sunrise to fully destroy the vampire for good.
As for the other ways, I see it that David Xanatos calls in Anubis as a favor to Goliath and as a way to keep Dracula from infesting his city, as the vampire could be creating a strain of vampires running rampant across Manhattan. Enchanted with holy runes, the two take on Dracula with Anubis's protection and after some slight stress (I imagine ol'Drac shattering David's power armor and almost mauling Golitah), both finally stake the revenant lord for good.
Had the honor of meeting Keith David. I watched it everyday after school. (Demona did things to my teenage brain 🧠) What if Marvel characters appeared in the show, thinking Punisher, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Blade, Ghost Rider.
This would be an interesting idea. I could see Dracula has a great villain for the show and possible love interest for Demona. While Frankenstein is a protector and guardian to the people of a neighbor who are under constant threat from gangs and outside forces who wish them harm. Could you even imagine the wolfman and Creature from Black Lagoon in the series? The Wolfman is a lone wander trying to rid himself of an ancient family curse that turns him into a werewolf. While the Gillman was taken from his home in the Amazon and was taken to New York, only to escape during a hurricane.
I think that your Frankenstein scenario is very similar to the movie I Frankenstein. It has Frankenstein's Monster and Gargoyles, and Demons, if you haven't seen it, I really do recommend it.
The Gargoyles meet the TMNT. It works pretty well.
Hudson - Splinter
Goliath - Leonardo
Lexington - Donatello
Broadway - Michelangelo
Brooklyn - Casey Jones/Raphael
Elisa - April

Dude, that would be an epic way to have Dracula destroyed on the show!
That is just beyond bad ass!

Gargoyles are monsters. Dracula is a vampire (monster) and Frankenstein's Creation is man-made (monster). They would be perfect for the show.

what if Characters from Journey of the West appear in gargoyles.
They would definitely have worked in the Gargoyles setting!
Im still waiting for Disney to pull the trigger and finally cross over Gargoyles into Marvel. Give me Gargoyles and Spiderman crossover Disney! CHOP! CHOP!😂
What if Batman was in GARGOYLES.
Great job on this video. Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Good idea for a Halloween treat. I love Gargoyles!
What about the Wolfman? What if the Invisible man was in the monster squad as Dracula’s spy?
They had a werefox character so that's kinda close enough
Imagine if Gill man was in the show

I’m surprised they never tackled Vampiress in the series to begin since they had tackled Werewolves and Man Mad Monsters numerous times
The gargoyles are probably immune from vampirism. The story should involve Dracula preying on Alissa.
Yeah, because the Gargoyles are immune to vampirism.

Wasn't Cold stone Gargoyles version of Frankenstein? He was made out of pieces of other Gargoyles glued together.
Drac and Frank would have been perfect for the "world tour" arch and honestly would have been formidable oponents for the gargoyles, especially if they were made accurate to their respective books.
What if the Five Families (Italian-American Mafia) and La Cosa Nostra were in Gargoyles?

Would Anubis aid them as Dracula is an unliving abomination of the natural order of life and death?

Hope they're closer to the books than the typical depiction in films.

What if Angels and Demons Did Existed in Gargoyles ?
I would love to see the religious theme in Gargoyles.
What if the Gargoyles met the TMNT?
You should do all the cinematic monsters. Like the mummy, gill man, wolfman. The invisible man even
I would love to see it
I think that your Frankenstein scenario is very similar to the movie I Frankenstein. It has Frankenstein's Monster and Gargoyles, and Demons, if you haven't seen it, I really do recommend it.
I actually recently had this very idea
You might want to fix the title...
Yeah, I was really embarrassed when I noticed, but I'm glad you also pointed it out.
Hey what happened to the Wolfman and the creature from the black lagoon 😅😂
I'm happy dracula wasn't in the show cos i think it would've made the show less distinct
The title needs a little rewrite.
Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. I appreciate it.
Adam Frankenstein? Why name him that? How about Herman? That sounds like a perfectly good name for that time frame and location.
I wouldn't call Gargoyles a slightly obscure anime. More people know about it and it's not anime. Close to it though.
